OPP said a 64-year-old Florida man died in the crash while a 48-year-old Uxbridge, Ont. woman who was critically injured died on Tuesday.

They have been identified as Gary Poltash and Susanne Brito.

Three other people injured in the collision were treated and released from hospital.

Now, according to the Post, O’Leary has turned to Greenspan as apparent inconsistencies arose last week over his earlier comments regarding the crash.

Greenspan is one of the best lawyers in the country and has defended — or represented — some of Canada’s best-known celebrities.

Initially, O’Leary said in a statement that the other boat involved in the crash didn’t have its navigational lights on and “fled” the scene.

But an OPP spokesman said both boats left, with the vessel with the critically injured seeking medical help.

And TMZ reported that the larger vessel did, in fact, have its navigational lights on.

Meanwhile, sources in Muskoka told the Toronto Sun that the OPP has video footage from at least one local cottage in their possession.

O'Leary issued a statement stating that he "was a passenger in a boat that was involved in a tragic collision with another watercraft that had no navigation lights on and then fled the scene."

A West Parry Sound OPP Constable, however, confirmed that both boats left the scene of the crash to contact "emergency services.” Both vessels were then transported to the West Parry Sound OPP detachment for inspection.

O’Leary’s statement that the larger boat didn't have proper navigation lights is also under scrutiny. According to passengers aboard the larger vessel, the navigation lights were fully functional and on at the time of the crash. O’Leary, however, has claimed that there is video that proves his statements are true.

Arntfield said the computers from the boats would be downloaded to determine speed and other factors. And because the crash was on the water, it makes things like the “rules of physics” much harder.

“The crash can’t be replicated,” Arnfield said.

In addition, he said the investigation will reveal where everyone involved in the crash was seated at the time of impact.

“Some of that will be based on injuries but it will be a scientific certainty and you can be certain the OPP will bring in outside experts,” he said.

At least there would be arms length witnesses to say who was driving the larger boat and whether ot not there had been any drinking going on that evening. Apparently the boat could carry 13 passengers. But, so far, we've heard only about the two who were killed, and three others who were injured.

Hopefully there were also witnesses to who was driving the O'Leary boat. But, it must have been very dark that evening. The moonrise was still half an hour away.

Gary Poltash, 64, most recently of Belleair Beach, Fla., was one of two people who died after a boat they had been riding on collided with a vessel owned by O’Leary on Lake Joseph in central Ontario. Suzana Brito, 48, of Uxbridge, Canada, succumbed to her injuries in a hospital two days after the crash, while Poltash died at the scene late Saturday, Aug. 24.

Poltash’s brother, Larry Poltash, has said the Poltash family — including Gary’s son Alex Poltash and daughter Allison Poltash — is seeking answers about what caused the crash.

A very respected doctor.

O'Leary boat was ultra-fast and literally flew over the heads of the people in the larger and slower boat. The bottom of the boat struck the victims. O'Leary boat kept going, and parked in a far-away marina.

The other boat rushed to nearest marina and immediately called 911 for help. O'Leary also called 911, but OPP didn't clarify how many hours later.

Glad to hear that is an old post.....but his post about the upcoming season of Shark Tank in Colombia is definitely tone deaf, as the writer states, and too upbeat considering the circumstances. People freakin died just two weeks ago! Apparently this has slipped his mind? This guy is a jacka$$ imo.
