I would agree female hired killers would be a very rare thing. But if anybody has the resources to have female killers it would be Mexican Drug Cartels. The closest example I can think of is Muslim female suicide bombers which happen quite a bit.

On the designer dress issue if you are trying to pass yourself off as wealthy home buyers you would want to dress the part.

Guess this answers my questions concerning the possibility of a female hit-woman, And yes, they do seem to dress up.

I think the women was there to make it appear they were actually a couple looking to buy the house in order to get Lindsay there to the house and feel at ease. IMO, I don't believe the woman actually participated in the actual killing but probably helped in the clean up after the fact.

Agree I think the male actually killed her and the female was there as a lookout and to help lure her there and make her feel comfortable. I wonder if there was more suspects. Perhaps a get away driver?

I would bet there was a getaway driver waiting for them. I would also bet they were dropped off down the street, far enough so nobody would identify a specific vehicle. I think they may have rehearsed this crime before hand. Maybe not inside the house, but I'm sure they were familiar with the area and knew the escape route before hand.

I was surprised to see there’s no special forum for this case, at least none I could find. I saw it on Dateline and became fascinated. There’s lots of information to be found on YouTube. The dad is still extremely involved in solving the case after 10 years and with the extensive crime scene it’s hard to believe it’s not solved yet. Anyone following it?

I wonder whether a camera in a nearby home is how they were able to exactly reproduce the dress.

I think this murder was committed by someone fairly sophisticated about how to avoid leaving evidence behind them, and who was very determined not to be caught.

It was an eyewitness that described the dress. From across the street. It's frustrating that there were no cameras anywhere in that area. Even one down the road that might have seen the car driving away.

I just watched a special on this case for the first time. Very strange this case has not been solved. For those that are very familiar, I'm just curious if anyone gave any descriptions of the car the clients arrived in? And with boyfriend witnessing shadows from the inside, surely the clients were still in the home on the first floor while he waited outside for her to respond to his texts. So is the theory that they exited a side door and then walked around to the front on the home, got in the car and left without anyone noticing?

Did boyfriend & his friend, who finally made entrance to the home notice blood droppings everywhere? She was stabbed so many times, you'd think there'd be somewhat of a blood trail.

Neither of these things were mentioned in the special that aired.

The clients did not have a car! Imagine that? They arrived the day before by ferry and did not have a car! Lindsay did ask Jason to go to the house with her, she was concerned about the phone call from lady immediately, she picked up that it was a phony accent and spoke to her father about it,he advised her to take Jason with her that is why he was also caught by surprise by how this all unfolded. You need to listen to this podcast

and you will have a better idea of what happened. This is one of the best podcasts about what happened on February 02, 2008. The couple and any others that were already hiding at 5:30 pm in the upstairs bathroom waiting to slaughter Lindsay left through the side patio door, thru the 3 boards already kicked out of the fence ( owner says for the painters) off to person who got them out of area. I think about the only chance to solve this is if they arrest someone in this drug gang on some other charges and they decide they want to provide some information in exchange for a lighter sentence and witness protection.

Was there any scientific evidence that maybe can be tested in the future using better technology? Dna testing has come a long way in the last decade.

Boyfriend won’t give his DNA.. his mother got him a shifty lawyer next day one known to help all drug dealers etc.

Lindsay's best friend is the person who keyed in the Desousa property listing into the system. She was connected to the Calgary drug ring. That is a fact. You did not have to be a listing agent or be connected to the builder to know about the Desousa listing that is silly. Investigators have corroborating evidence from multiple sources that support Lindsay was not apprehensive about the showing and she did not request Jason accompany her to the showing. Jason was at a scheduled meeting at SCH those were his pressing plans. Lindsay did not want anyone to accompany her to the showing otherwise she would have asked. This knowledge should lower your red flags.

I agree, I think killer was already upstairs waiting. Shirley Zeeee’s bf knew guy who owned house and he knew what was going on. He let killer in and he lured Lindsay in. Lock box was used by person pretending to be Lindsay. That person met couple. They were all there for witness sake. I think Lindsay was dead by 5:30. People escaped thru patio door and thru 3 kicked out boards in fence. Owner of house said they were kicked out for painters. (Yah right). This was a very personal attack. Even the 3 profilers on Dateline said that. They also said she knew killer and could have been from real estate office. Mother-in-law, boyfriend and BF’s brother all worked together at same Remax. Lindsay wanted to leave JaSon as soon as some deals closed, Lindsay knew something that would jeopardize their income. Money laundering, real estate big in Vancouver, Victoria then. Vancouver has a public inquiry going on now about the exact things. This may bring forth more information to solve Lindsay’s murder.

There was no sexual assault and a thrill kill like you describe would have not been so quick. A sadist would have sought to abduct. Way too much stuff connecting her to some sordid dealers that were trying to send a message.

Originally, it was mentioned that Lindsay felt apprehensive about meeting these people for the showing. It was stated that she had asked her boyfriend to check up on her during the showing. But,in the last statement from LE, they said that actually,no,she was not apprehensive,just surprised because the house was not her listing.And,no, she never asked her boyfriend to either go to the house,or check up on her. He went over to the house with some R.E. papers for her to sign.

What I would love to know is : who originally said that Lindsay was apprehensive ? And who originally said that she asked her boyfriend to check up on her ? Could these statements have originated with her boyfriend ? Who else would have known about such things ?

And where does this latest statement come from,that he just happened to stop by the house with some papers for her to sign ? Did that statement come from him too ? If so, why has he changed his story ?

Lindsay told her Dad she was uneasy and thought phone call to her cell was odd. She was not listing agent. She asked how did u get my # and she was told previous client so Lindsay called them but they were out of town so she was unable to verify. Lindsay told her Dad Jason was going there with her so father did not worry. Too much shifty real estate coincidences here, inside info provided to killers and conspirators here. Why was Jason late? Why did he bring alibi when he finally showed up? Watch Shauna Rae or Brainscratch as they speak about all this and father tells his own truth about conversation he had with Lindsay about this appt. Poor Lindsay was lured to this house. There are conx with mother in law and owner of house too.

I would really hate to be a female real estate agent. I've heard of this happening before, and I believe I've even seen "rules" to follow if you are a female RE agent so this doesn't happen to you.

Randomly you get someone that wants to view something and you get a weird vibe off of them. If i ever felt unsure i always had the asst manager either stop in, follow in the background or just come along with us. He had no problem doing that and noone viewing would ever say anything or be suspicious at all. Your gut tells you everything. Its never wrong.

I think he shouldve just gone with her from the beginning. I wonder why that wasnt an option. It seemed like she was expressing her nervousness to multiple people prior to the showing. Why wouldnt he just offer to go with her together. Wonder if Lindsay was headstrong enough to say no its ok. Ill be fine you just meet me there? Or if it was Jason saying ill just meet you there. I mean especially if she was newer to that industry. I think he is suspicious for sure

I feel like it was kinda strange that the owner of the house(who is linked to Jason mom) was there about 30mins before the showing especially to turn on a light? And with the "mexicans" showing up without a car could he have dropped them off at that time. Seems like a possibility. Noone else saw any other cars so someone dropped them off. ALSO who would know the best way in and out of that house, yard and area than the builder/owner? Probably noone. I think he could be involved in someway. He probably allowed his house to be used for the killing. He was linked to the mom and also Lindsays father said he heard this guy said she deserved what she got.
