The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a man wanted in a sexual assault investigation.

It is reported that

- on Friday, August 14, 2020, between 5:30 a.m. and 6 a.m., a 42-year-old man was asleep in his room in the Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East area

- a man gained entry to the room

- he sexually assaulted the man

- when confronted, he fled the area.


The man is described as 30-40 years old, approximately 5’8”, with a slim build, and a shaved or bald head. He was clean shaven and was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

At first i wondered if these cases were connected due to the assaults being well, a little unusual and because they each occurred not terribly far from one another.
But in one instance the perp was described as dark skinned (pic shows that clearly) and in the other assault, a week later, the perp was described as white, but also bald.
fwiw, speculation, imo.
