I keeping thinking back to an earlier article about his mom...

In 2001, Williams' mother and stepfather divorced. His brother, a Bowmanville doctor, said in a press statement that the second divorce caused a deep rift between Williams, him and their mother, which they recently made efforts to repair.

Did he start this behaviour because of his relationship with his mother? Did he hate her so much that he took his anger towards her out on women? I wonder how "recently" they tried to repair this relationship in the family, would Sept 2007 be recent?

I just found another interesting line from an older article...

Carleton University has heightened its campus security after a young student was beaten unconscious and raped inside a science lab.


The 23-year-old woman suffered a broken jaw and dislocated shoulder when the suspect attacked her Friday just after midnight. He then tied up the victim and sexually assaulted her.

I remember reading about this attack in a thread way back...here is more on this same story.

After the man sexually assaulted her, he cleaned her with a wet cloth and stole some of her clothing and possessions.

After knocking her unconscious, the man removed her clothing and sexually assaulted her. He then cleaned the woman with a wet cloth, and stole her jeans, cellphone, running shoe, and red-and-white underwear

hmmm, who does this sound like?????

Upper Canada College has had a number of incidents in the decade following 1998 where staff were accused of statutory rape or of possessing child *advertiser censored*. Only three ended in convictions. In early February 2007, the school mailed a letter to the entire UCC community apologizing for the sexual and physical abuse at the school and referring to the abuse of students as the most difficult issue the school has had to face in its 177-year history

One pattern I noticed throughout the graph was that most B&E took place either on the weekend or close to it when I would have expected MEH to be with him. They moved out of the Orleans home sometime in July 2009 and he took over command of Trenton and from then on the B&E's in the Orleans area come to a stop but continue in Tweed where it seems he is now living with MEH down on weekends. She must have taken a temporary place in Ottawa as their condo was being built. Wonder if that area of town has been checked for panty theft. It makes you wonder about the marriage because two special dates he was out and about doing his despicable deeds..Jan. 1 and Feb.14 in early 2009 instead of celebrating with his "loving" ??? wife... I am surprised with the # of B&E's on his own street as the houses on that street are so close together it's a wonder he wasn't seen by someone plus the homes back on others.. It boggles the mind.

I also think that Sep. 2007 was not the start of his adventures..I think that date was when he got cocky enough to start keeping track..

Thanks alot for posting that LadyL. That graph is a much fancier version of what I have been working on, trying to fill in known public appearances by RW with his crimes. I have been looking for patterns or anamolies to his behaviour pattern.

A few things I have noted so far are below. I have filled in all the days of the week, and the locations of Tweed/Orleans/Brighton.

Of note, when LE announced the warning on Hallowe'en in 2008, he made one B & E November 4 th in Tweed, and then went right back to Orleans b & e's only after that, right through until April 2009. This includes the New Years and Valentine's B & E's that we heard about.

For all of 2007, there were only charges for crimes in Tweed, beginning September 9, 2007. I don't believe he just all of a sudden started this behaviour, in Tweed, in September 2007.

Here is a summary of the days of the week, RW committed crimes. There were some days that he broke in twice/had 2 charges for the same day.

How many women reading this post have a husband who has boxes of stuff stored in the rafters of your garage that you DO NOT know EXACTLY what is in them???

In our home, which I think is pretty normal, there isn't a nook or crany that I don't know EXACTLY what is in it.

If my husband had boxes in the rafters and said something like:
A) they are work related, I would know that isn't the case because his company wouldn't let him keep files at home!
B) hubby is a photo buff, as a gift I would prob go through them and have one framed as a gift.
C) boxes are filled with school memorabilia, then how come the box number increases?

At some point my curiousity would just simply be too tweaked not to take a peak in those boxes myself!

Your thoughts ladies?

Someone who was very fussy (scratched floor !)would certainly notice boxes of stuff, it is not like they had children's items accumulating...besides what woman is that confident about how her younger husband conducts himself?

Great catch on the possible trigger point (reuniting with his mother/brother) 2 years ago.

Here is another possible trigger, that may correspond to another murder on the perimeter of CFB Trenton in 2001, that of Kathleen Macvicar. It wasn't until the arrest of RW, that I re-read the articles on Kathleen's murder, and realized that she herself may have been held captive, according to the time delay in the recovery of her remains, from the time of her last being seen.

Another great catch, cleaning the victim after assault? Surely that must be very rare.

I would think (hope?) LE will be reviewing all unsolved assaults in areas where RW was known to be, especially ones where the victim was nurtured in some way after the crime.

Now that we know he hid his treasures in the garage rafters, you mention some very good points. I wonder if MEH was afraid of heights and wouldn't pull out a ladder to reach the rafters, with RW knowing this - he had a safe place to store his fetish finds.

His military collections ie: uniforms/combat clothes would most likely have been stored in "kit boxes" ( grey or black small trunks) supplied by the military or the common type duffle bags...not boxes.. I can see why MEH would not have bothered looking in those...BUT if his treasures were stored in regular boxes I think as a wife I would have been curious especially when moving to a new home because that is when you can get the chance to purge "junk"...

Also, considering they were temporary out of a home in the Ottawa area while their new house was under construction..where did he store these "treasures"...in a storage unit???

I've been re-reading some older links, this caught my eye...

the above mentions that the attacker at Carlton stole her "running shoe" and then in Tweed they find a "white shoe"

The attack at Carlton University was on Saturday Sept 1, 2007, the graph shows his first b/e was Sept 7th. JMO I think this is when he turned cocky and started his paperwork to keep track of his findings, B/E's and attacks.
