Ten years on, Kitimat family still seeks closure in missing person case

On Aug.10, 2014, a concerned friend reported Yassinsky missing after noticing he had not been seen for some time. Several unusual details at Yassinsky’s residence, including the absence of his blue 2009 Ford Fusion with license plate 226UFF, raised further concerns.'
'Over a month later, Yassinsky’s vehicle was found abandoned near Purden Campground, west of Prince George. A two-day search of the area, involving RCMP Police Dog Services and Search and Rescue teams, yielded no clues as to his whereabouts.'
