''Region of Peel – Investigators from Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit are seeking public assistance to identify a suspect, who is believed to be responsible for two sexual assaults in the greenbelt area of Mississauga Valley Boulevard and Arista Way in Mississauga.

On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at approximately 7:30 a.m., the victim, a 96-year-old woman was walking in the area of Mississauga Valley Boulevard and the Cooksville Creek Trail when the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing the area.

On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at approximately 8:15 a.m., the victim, a 66-year-old woman was walking along the Cooksville Creek Trail, between Mississauga Valley Boulevard and Burnhamthorpe Road East, in Mississauga, when the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing the area.

There were no physical injuries sustained by either of the victims.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, early 20s, approximately 5’8”, skinny build, clean shaven, wearing a plain zip-up hoodie and straight-cut black jeans.

Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call the Special Victims Unit at 905-453-2121, extension 3460. Information may also be left anonymously by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or by visiting www.peelcrimestoppers.ca.

Well, I certainly hope they grab this guy quickly.
Painfully sad for these two women.

I am pondering, just how broad "sexual assault" can be interpreted.

If...
There were no physical injuries sustained by either of the victims.
Then hopefully the incidents are on the lighter side.

We can hope.
