Agreed! she did not have the money she would have if she was hooking, and there would be no need to steal from, or live with her Mother.
Casey is way to involved with herself to continue staying at her mother's if she was making money hooking. She never had a poace to stay except for her mother's, she hooked up with whoever was boyfriend of the week, and slept at their houses.
I don't beleive she was hooking!

Casey's life seemed to take a drastic turn after May. All said this is not the Casey they knew. What happened from May to July 15th to change Casey's life and Caylees too.

I hope I am not being inappropriate by posting this thread. If so, I am sure the moderators will remove it. And I mean no disrespect in any way.

BUT - in the interview with the cop who was fired for lying about his "relationship" with Casey, the investigator asks him if he is aware of Casey having had any "relationships" with other cops on the force. And his answer was no, just Jesse Grund, to whom she was engaged.

Casey apparently had her parents convinced for going on two years that she had a job. She would leave the house as if she was "going to work". According to George's statement, he last saw Caylee as she was going out the door with her mother Casey, who was "on her way to work". Casey was "dressed for work" George states.

I am going to assume here that over this almost two year time span that Casey had some money of her own to spend. Nobody -- NOBODY -- could go for two years with absolutely no source of income! I understand that she was stealing from friends and relatives from time to time and that she ran up her mother's credit card. But, come on folks, two years is a long time!

Somewhere, somehow Casey was getting a regular stream of spending money during this time. It may not have been a lot - Dad was buying her tires when she had the two flat tires - but she went to a lot of bars, went out with her friends, etc. For TWO years!!

Plus she was disappearing at times.

Anybody have any ideas as to what was really going on?

I don't know but I've wondered this for a while. Seems like she was on the Net a LOT, not unusal for someone her age (or for many of us for that mattter.) Seems plausible to me, given some of the things we've learned, like those you mentioned that she could have been freelancing on the Net and that sometimes she met 'friends' and that other times she might have met 'clients.' The AR thing has always struck me as wierd...didn't seem to be much of a relationship there, just sex. And apparently there might have been other copys. He didn't expose that in his interview and, frankly, the IM didn't totally specifically point to it either, but none of what he said or typed ruled it out in my mind either.

yeah, don't even get me started on people who file more than once...people pretty much start getting credit card offers the minute their first case is discharged. they can even buy a car and put the entire car loan on one credit card. anyway, (this is all O/T I know) - I am not innocent of this myself, I spent a few years in college living beyond my means mostly on credit...I would not be surprised if she had a lot of outstanding credit card debt before she started stealing from her mom, and just maxed it all out.

ok so entertaining the thought briefly that she could possibly be looking down hooker lane for a possible career...she strikes me as the type of girl that would want to be on something like HBO's Cathouse...she does love the attention. and they make a ton of cash there. I'd be interested to see if there were any hits on Vegas or the Nevada brothels on the computer as well.

Let me see if I can (subtly) shine some light here.

Most people in the lifestyle that I know wouldn't dare touch drugs and especially not during role play. They are very adamant about safe, sane and consensual. There is no place in the lifestyle for drugs. There are plenty of dangers if a Dominant were on drugs and hurt the submissive and this isn't something they take lightly.

I'm speaking of a true lifestyler. I can't speak for the wannabe's that have no idea about "safe" role play.

To be honest, looking at the variety of sites and the quantity, I'd say someone was either researching where they can find the best escort (one of Casey's male friends or maybe even GA) or Casey was researching the best one to work for.

I do not think that if Casey was an escort or even a recruiter at that time that she would be visiting such a large amount of various escort services - she'd be working within her own.

Maybe I'm wrong though. I've never been involved in that lifestyle (I've led a fairly sheltered life) so I guess it would be something that I don't know a lot about.

I just don't see how she could have hidden it when she was obviously so bad at lying that everyone around her knew that she was a pathological liar.

Highly unlikely. The last thing an escort agency would want is to attract the attention of police.

The other day someone gave a link to the site and the info that was on the site had nothing to do with what Lee said the Company did.

couldn't she have taken out multiple credit cards in her own name and just lived on credit? and taken out cash advances on those cards? it is remarkably easy to do this for a few years with no income until you get cut off. I work in bankruptcy law and it is amazing how many clients of ours get into the situations they're in just living entirely on credit. :-(

When a business files for a fictitious name, it doesn't mean anything illegal. It simply means you have named your business something other than your own name.

IE: WalMart instead of Sam Walton's Store.

The only reason that someone would not come forward and say where Casey was during all her unexplained absences is if that someone also had something to hide and/or was involved in illegal activities.

The only other possibility is that every single day, all day long, after both her parent left for work, she went back to the house and stayed there all day with Caylee. But then the question is, why didn't the neighbors notice that?

When my ex started playing party poker online he claimed the same thing with the pop ups. States he didn't visit those sites and they just popped up while he was playing cards. I didn't know whether to believe it or not. He lied a lot too like KC.
