Here is some food for thought. What if KC was "some" sort of a working girl and she took Caylee along with her. In the midst of something KC realizes that Caylee is no longer breathing. Now she can't call LE because they will want to know where she was and what she was doing. What if the people she was working for threatened her life and that of her family if she told where she was, who she was working for and what they were doing?
Could this lead to the half truth of "Casey is afraid to say who has Caylee because her life as been threatened" expressed by CA in part of her interview with the FBI?
If she had somehow gotten involved with underground/mob types she probably had a clue how down and dirty they can get when betrayed.
