As much as I believe she could have possibly been working as a escort I have to discount this picture.

IIRC it came out shortly after she was arrested the first time. It looks to me, and I may be wrong, that this was put on the internet by someone who was one of her enemies.

I am not sure, but that's just a feeling I have about it.

I agree though I can see her using it in her "About me" on her Myspace.

The "manager of shot girl" thing is pretty inocuous. She did this only during the time she knew Tone, so not that long at all. If you've ever been to a club, there are all kinds of hot girls skimpily dressed promoting all kinds of things. Some of them are hired by the club/bar to serve shots or just to pump up the crowd and be provocative and good-looking (this lures in new patrons when people go home talking about how hot the women were, etc).

It's not clear if the shot girls in this case sold shots to the crowd or danced around. In any case, IIRC, this is a sushi restaurant that becomes a club only on the weekends--not exactly a hotbed for any of the things people are trying to pin on it (drug dealing, gang activity, escort, prostitution, etc). IMO, this is being blown out of proportion and everyone is looking for something more scandalous and exciting and criminal than it probably was (the club, I mean, and activities there).

I also do not think Casey was hooking or escorting in any formal way (who knows if it happened occasionally, but I still doubt that). I agree with others who said she would not need to shop at Target if she was -- remember, she paid no rent or bills or food -- all the $$ she would have made was basically disposable. She constantly complained about her mother controlling her -- if she had half a chance to make decent $$ as an escort and she wanted to, she would have done so. But she would have moved out or at least bought conspicuous things for herself, none of which she had (unless we don't know about some very nice clothes or jewelry or lifestyle of expensive restaurants and clubs). I have no idea what she was doing when she was supposed to be at work -- at home, with friends, at the park with Caylee, at Starbuck's, somewhere with free wifi, texting and talking to people, etc.

Recently I have started to think that perhaps the title "Event Coordinator" really meant "dispatcher" for an escort service. I would think that with something like that she could bring Caylee to the 'office' (or apt. or whereever this would happen) and others would help watch over her. It would also explain the odd hours and the second phone and why no one has come forward about what exactly it is that she has been doing during the day...at least that we know of...I'm sure there's a lot that hasn't been released yet that will shed a lot of light on KC.

I'm not at all sure this is what KC was up to, but my question about stealing is how many times can you hit up the same small groups of friends she had access to? We can all pretty much agree Amy seemed boundless as a "mark," but who else could she steal from repeatedly? Her phone bills alone were outrageous and she was paying them until July. I think that she was planning on getting the hell outta Dodge. Going to CA and hooking up with MarkH. There are parts of emails or IMs that were found in unallocated space on her computer - unallocated space just means that you have deleted it, but until it's overwritten with other data, it's just marked as 'unallocated' and the data that was there, is still there - and from this parts of these communications, it was plain that MarkH was under the impression that there was an upcoming reunion and possibly a steady relationship with Casey. These are in the Computer Forensic reports in the last document dump.

But I digress. My original point to your post was not only was the number of friends she could steal from limited, but she HAD to know that in just a few days AmyH was going to blow the top off her little can of worms. The gig was just about up for her and any of AmyH's crowd of friends.

She needed fresh territory, where people didn't know her, where she could begin the game all over again, reinvent herself and her life.

My only disagreement about Casy and the escort service is the money. I feel if she were working for a service she would not have been living with her mother, she would not have been driving that old ugly car and not have been shopping at target or carrying that crappy cell phone. The rest, hell yeah I can see her selling her body, sure can!

The way I felt was this- I screw people I hate for free, I might as well make some money off of it. For people like us sex does not = love ..and love does not = sex.

As far as the escorting goes, maybe she only did it occasionally...as in when she really needed money or when CA and GA wouldn't give her any money (I have my suspicions that they handed out money to her if she asked) which would explain why she didn't have her own place, a nicer car, etc...Maybe I'm off base here with that but I think it is a possibility.

This is the exact thought that I was going to come post. The money is not great, but you can make enough to get by. It is very flexible as far as scheduling and location go. A very distinct possibility.

Then there is the possible connections (well made, IMO) that have been made between the Never Lose Hope foundation and phone sex services.

There was a 20/20 on this past summer about a woman in Colorado who lived in a million dollar home. She had three children and was president of some "moms" club. She was divorced. She turned up missing and still is. When the investigation was done LE turned up solid evidence she was an "escort".
NOT ONE PERSON IN HER FAMILY KNEW THIS.
It appears she was making good enough money to live very well.
Why would Casey need two phones if all she was doing was being a "shot" girl??

I agree, I dont think she was a hooker or escort..she didnt have anything to show for it and was dependent on her parents.

Somewhere in LA's interview didn't he say he could verify that she had been working? Never did hear LE ask "where" and sure didn't hear LA volunteer info about "where" either. I'll have to go back and listen to his interview again.
