Well if the A's are telling the truth during their court testimony it would NOT line up with what KC has told her attorneys, so yes, I can see her scribbling away because it's the "Truth, according to Casey". In her eyes, KC and only KC as CEO has the "resource" information.

How do the defense attorneys function with someone who lies all the time???? No wonder it's a circus. Is she being truthful or another one of her lies? Do we chase this lead or are we wasting our time? Crying wolf comes to mind and about now I think they pretty much ignore what she writes. jmo

She won't cut it until she is free. The longer it gets, the thinner it becomes. It healthy to cut or trim your hair once in awhile. It gets any longer it will be one long thin stream. Her hair already shows signs of thinning out. Not as thick as when it was shorter. It's just what happens to fine hair when it grows too long.

ica is not going to want that long hair once she is convicted (crossed fingers) because it will be too easy for her to be grabbed and possibly hurt.

does any expert say anything? Will she grow it long enough to have a guy climb up to her cell? Repunzel comes to mind.

I was thinking the same thing while watching Friday's proceedings.

Or maybe she's planning to use it in a suicide attempt after she's convicted. You know, just wrap it around her neck a few times, wrap the ends on a high bar of her cell door, then jump. Suicide by hanging by her hair.

Or maybe saving it for when JB goes bald and they can make a toupee for him.

Nothing else comes to mind.

I have the feeling she's going to chop it right after she gets sentenced. She won't have any need for it anymore after that. I think she's using it to keep CA thinking she's fighting for herself so CA will continue to fight with her. Her hair is just another tool for her to use to keep CA wrapped around her finger. Once it serves no more purpose for Casey, it'll be gone.

I noticed what that writer is talking about. It does appear she's writing letters, makes personal notes about what's going on at the hearing, and she writes little notes to her attorneys, too.

She doesn't enter court with the legal pad. Does she exit with it? Has anyone seen that? Or does JB take it with him to distribute the stuff later? :waitasec:

I just meant that it kinda goes to her I'm the CEO, the one really in charge attitude. I saw her craning to read whatever was on CM's laptop a few times, too. All this, coupled with the insane note taking, reading evidence, etc. makes me think she doesn't have delusions of paralegal, but that she is actually beginning to think of herself as one of the attorneys instead of the defendant.....I think she may have a MAJOR reality breakdown during the trial, but not until she's confronting with something really damning, like the crime scene or autopsy photos. MOO

Baez and Cheney are having her take the notes. It is occupying her time. If she sat there all day listening to this, e.g. Lee's "maybe" comment and her reaction, she would do herself and them no good. They need someone to babysit KC and the note taking is it.

Re here reality breakdown, there is not going to be one. She is a sociopath MM. She does not care. She killed her child in the light of day as if it were another errand she had to do. She does not think as you do. She doesn't care.

P.S. In the Menendez trial, their lawyer wrote furiously when the state was up. You never know what you will hear I guess and maybe it is to imprint on their mind. BUT AS FAR AS KC Goes, I think it is to keep her occupied.

And Amber Alerts are mainly for highways and cars, etc. So as someone recently posted, unless someone is driving through the local "swamp" I don't think they are going to find anything.

About the bolded part, why does she seem so content in prison? Her Pisces planets perhaps, Pisces is the sign which rules the natural 12th house, the house of prisons. Maybe she thinks of it as her private suite, no work, daily service, no parents bothering her.

Although I still say if I were the judge, I'd make her stop scribbling and pay attention! I don't see how it doesn't make him bonkers seeing her do that all day long.

Why did they switch tables? The defense used to be on the other side. For the record, I wish they'd move the court reporter out of camera view. Her typing has to be a bit bothersome to the witnesses. I've never seen one right in front of the witness box before.

BBM: They're different court rooms and defense has to be on the side in which KC enters the court room from her holding area.

FYI: CM's monitor is hooked up to the court reporter's monitor. He reads all the statements going on the record, which is what I suggested when CM started complaining he could not hear the testimony. So either they read here or a lightbulb went off in HHJP head. It is closed down, cover down, when they go to sidebar so what the court reporter writes cannot be seen behind the defense table. jmo

The defendant is sitting on the opposite side of the courtroom in room 19D because the door she enters in on that side of the room . On the 23rd floor the door she enters is on the other side of the room. There are no other side doors so she comes in and sits at the table closest to the door. IMO

The laptop is a monitor for CM to read the court reporter's transcript. When they go up to sidebar the top is put down because the court reporter is still typing their responses. They do not want to let anyone behind the defense table see what is being said at sidebar so that is why KC closed it. BUT, that is why JB has someone sit with her so it is their responsibility to do that, not KC's. She could make them aware of it but I think one time there did not appear to be anyone around so KC closed it. Problem is CM never remembers to close it himself but he sure jumps up fast enough to get up there for their sidebar. CM should be more careful and pay attention. jmo

I REALLY like Dr. Glass, but she seems too hard on Cindy's wardrobe and hair. The Dr's assessment is more like issues about "beauty" than comportment. Not everyone looks like a movie star for gosh sakes!
In this new column Dr Glass wants Cindy's hair to be different ...(and I swear, in an earlier column Glass didn't like Cindy's hair longer...and now she doesn't like it shorter! Which is it?!) lol!
WELL, aside from beauty advice to Cindy, the Dr's observations seem pretty accurate to me. No one is missing the endless note taking!

Oh, and FWIW, I think it's a bit of the pot calling the kettle black, because Dr. Glasses hair is at least 4 inches too long on HER!

I guess I lost faith in Dr Glass's capabilities a while ago, in this blog she is entirely too worried about appearance and only lightly touches on body language. She calls LE a betrayer and JB's apology flowing and eloquent, I can't say she and I are the least bit in tune. In fact one would think maybe Dr Glass finds JB rather.......compelling.

I think her writing is no more serious than doodling. Often she will look bored, just write one word, underline it then stop, or write a few words, fold the page in two and then move on to the next page. It's just for dramatic effect while she knows the cameras are on her. She can't stop fiddling, twiddling, pulling her clothing if she's not writing...

I think she is growing it as long as possible to be the Polar Opposite of Cindy. Cindy has short hair, so Casey will have long hair.

Oh yeah I thought that was some super-important issue with Mason. He addresses the court about the "telephoto lens" silliness then nothing comes of it.
