CA said in an interview posted today that the family has not yet visited KC because she is "not ready". I get the sense that perhaps she's not yet allowed visitors. Also, the glass-walled room and the rest of it sounds like she's on suicide watch for a period of time...

ETA - Regarding the commisary money - perhaps she's not yet allowed to purchase anything as well.

can anyone confirm this? I was told that those in solitary confinement are not allowed commissary (?sp) Privileges, I have it on pretty good authority (have clients that have spent time in Orange County Jail).

So maybe money wouldn't do her any good?

I can't confirm it but I'm pretty sure this is why she has not yet had visits and has not yet been allowed to make purchases. She is probably in solitary confinement and on suicide watch.

I've been wondering if she told him something that he believed, or if he's just being a lawyer, but from his demeanor, I think he believes her.

I don't think she is on suicide watch. And anyway, all they'd have to do is take the pic out of the frame so she could have it. I'm guessing she just doesn't care.

I was announced that KC has an hour per day to take a shower or go to the commissary.

She has some priviledges because it's not solitary confinement, it's protective custody.

Me too!! And why not get that story out now so that she could possibly be out of jail? I mean if we are going to understand that would mean (apperently) she isn't guilty. So why sit in jail? Just spill the beans already!

According to the article she hasn't spoken with anyone and there have been no visitor requests. I suppose she could be sending 'stay away' messages through Baez, otherwise how would the family know?

I was just saying that I can't even imagine what kind of story she could come up with to tell JB that could explain away everything that's happened since June 16th. And as much of a buffoon as I think he is, I don't think even HE is that naive or lacking in simple common sense enough to blindly believe some tale Casey has concocted to try to get herself out of trouble.
