Uhmmm, she's enamored with him??? She has LUST for him??? He's a male???

LMAO I don't know why but she must see how imcompentent he's turned out to be..JMHO

Hey, let's not knock it, seems he will definately get a guilty verdict for his client...JMHO

Justice for Caylee

I don't think it's how she feels about him - I think it's how she believes he feels about her. He flatters her, and has her "basking in his admiration".

Can anyone explain why on earth Casey has stuck with Baez like he's the best attorney that has ever happened? This just does not make sense to me.

cause he does exactly what her family always has: no matter what rank and horrible thing she does, smile at her and tell her it's okay cause she is beautiful!!!

she feels right at home with him.

I think she stuck with him because her parents did not want her to. Just another finger in the air to all...IMO

Every cent that goes into ICA's account should be automatically put to her defense. Since she's so indigent and such.
:cow:

Dear Cindy,
Good to see how happy you are with little Caylees (ahem--alleged) murderer. I'm sure Caylee appreciates her nanas diligence. Lord forbid ICA goes without coco butter.:loser: IMO and uggg.

Casey Anthony's jail account no longer in the negative
July 28, 2010|By Jeff Weiner, Orlando SentinelIt appears Casey Anthony's jail account is back in the black, as her mother deposited $140 on Wednesday.

A money order dated Tuesday has replenished her account, which dipped into red ink recently. A copy of the $140 money order released Wednesday shows it was purchased by Anthony's mother, Cindy Anthony.

Orange County Jail spokesman Allen Moore said in an email that Casey Anthony's account balance Wednesday was $94.49.

Well at least it was CA and not GA. Maybe there's still hope for him. Do they have separate checking accounts? :waitasec:

Isn't this the first time Cindy has deposited money in KC's account? I don't recall her contributing previously (unless it was very early on). It's always been GA. Well, he's gonna show her, huh? Guess maybe KC's the one that's been asking "Why? Why? Why?" since she's been without her treats. moo

Someone further back on this thread posted her latest commissary sheet and it looks like from time to time Cindy has been depositing money into ICA's account since about January. George also until the 2nd week of June.

I wonder how many hours the mitigation specialist has spent with KC getting her story straight? It amazes me how someone who can lie to police about the whereabouts of her child, stole money from her family and best friends would ever be believed about anything. jmo

I was wondering that too. I noticed from the visitor logs that Jeanene Barrett has only visited once since the indigency hearing. I wonder if she is not qualified to be reimbursed by the JAC.

I found this on page 14: http://justiceadmin.com/faq/Training Modules/InvestBilling1.pdf

A mitigation specialist must have a valid Class C investigator License unless he or she:

Holds a professional Florida license in a field such as mental health or psychology, or

Is a member of The Florida Bar.

I've looked on the myflorida.com and floridashealth.com and I can't find a license for her.

Thank you Logical Girl! :blowkiss:

BTW - The same goes for Mort Smith - the Private Investigator

They won't be able to get paid unless they get licensed in FL.

Here is some more info from: http://justiceadmin.com/faq/Q&A.pdf

74. Does a mitigation specialist need to be licensed as a private
investigator?

Unless the mitigation specialist has another professional license in Florida that
exempts the mitigation specialist from having a private investigator license, then a mitigation specialist must be licensed as a private investigator to do work on court-appointed and indigent for costs cases. Appropriate professional licenses include licenses in mental health fields, social work, and law. The professional licenses must be a Florida license.

Awesome ThinkTank! You are so detailed!

It's like magic! There goes ThinkTank again! Between Nums24 and ThinkTank, we are the most informed board on the entire internet!

Seriously I know everyone joins me in expressing great appreciation for and of you both.

Er... um... - of course you both do make me look even lazier than I actually am!:blushing:

I doubt your lazy, I think I'm obsessed.

LOL - while I am sitting here studying personalities and moving my blocks around asking myself why why why, what fits, and moving the same blocks around and around to see if another answer fits- as obsessively as you think you are, you are actually out there looking and finding real information. And I still sit here thinking WHY? Does this block fit here? Is this making any sense at all? What is making the characters in the case behave like this?:waitasec:

That's the difference! Vive la difference! (sorry I'm Canadian!)

But I thought HHJP approved her since she was ICA only real "friend" other than of course jb :banghead:----or something along that line.....I know she was limited in the amount of hours and such....but perhaps she flew the coup as soon as AL did knowing what lay ahead???????:loser:

Maybe the JAC rules of payment mean she would be paid a lot less minus her travel expenses so it wasn't financially viable to continue? Also, this person has already done hundreds of hours with ICA - how much time does one mitigation person need with her? Realistically that is - beyond the chit chat and the hand holding?

I know HHJP did, but I think they will still have to get licensed there in order to receive payment. I'm really not sure. Looking at the invoices released by WFTV, they did kick back the court reporter bill because they weren't registered as a vendor.

Yes the rate will be reduced and it was reduced more starting 7/1/10.
