I am nursing student, and here is the scoop on Xanax. Generic name: alprazolam. Its a benzodiazepine which is HIGHLY addictive. They give usually for anxiety PRN-->as needed basis. However, I do know pscyh drs. to give longterm for anxiety (which I dont agree with due to dependance). (They will usually prescribe Buspar for anxiety as its not addictive.) Its also used for anxiety, panic attacks, PMS, calming dementia patients. Side effects are sedation, confusion, dizziness, lethargy. Normal dose for adult is not to exceed 10mg per day. Per my notes, confirmed in drug guide.

I really wish docs would start with buspar over xanax. or perhaps, buspar (which is daily) and suggest xanax limited use until the buspar takes full effect.

Xanax - What is a normal dose for a severe anxiety disorder? What dose do you think would be given to knock a kid out? What doe is taken when drinking to get a high?

A normal first dose of Xanax would be .25mg (1/4 mg). 1/4 of a .25mg pill would be used for a 70lb adolescent. sooooo... half of 1/4 of a .25mg would be enough, and possibly too much depending on weight.

INDEED! There is a lot of investigation into this and strong attempts to regulate controlled substances... top being Vicodin -Hydrocodone, and all of it's relatives and Xanax. Oxycodone has and continues to be on the sh17 list.

Strange how the link's not working anymore. I saw the photos of the Jade in question, but I doubt it's Casey. Her facial features were blurred out, but they looked more asian (IMO) and different from Casey's (Casey's eyes are placed closed together and Jade's eyes weren't). Also, the second photo of Jade showed her in a tight corset which leads me to believe she was corset trained. Casey does not have a tiny waist like that, although the photo could have been altered in Photoshop. Both photos were pretty professional, the second one was a black and white artsy photo. I didn't think it was Casey when I first looked at it. I'm purely going from memory, so it's difficult to go into detail.

I know! The other day my son was being a little brat and I joke alot telling him I'm going to throw him out the window etc (I am obviously joking) and he was sitting in my lap and I had his fingers (he's 2) and we typed out "throw the baby out the window" into google.
