Sorry, for this case, I can't go backwards with the court calendar once the court date passes. Nonetheless, I believe the "bond hearing" was probably a virtual confirmation that Gage cannot be released from JV detention facility. While he's being tried as an adult, he's not housed with adults.@Seattle1 - do you know how to find what happened at the bond review hearing? I know there is way to get to documents, but I haven't found a way in yet....

I don't think I'd read this before that the victim could not formally be identified for 6 months. A horrific tragedy for her parents and family.

Because of the devastation to Garcia’s body, a proper identification, which involved comparison to DNA of her parents, took nearly six months to complete. Last week, the elder Gleason pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 42 years in prison.
“Amy was an outgoing and beautiful woman and she was murdered violently and senselessly at the hands of someone she cared for. The sentence he was given isn’t near enough to be considered justice for this family, for her children,” said CT of Canon City, a cousin.
“We are all grateful that he isn’t getting away with it, but no closure will ever be reached for this family as long as he continues to breathe,” Taylor said.
Taylor said Garcia’s mother, who also lives in Canon City, “is completely devastated by this and still unable to comment at this time.”
Garcia’s siblings —SM, AM, EM, and CM, all of Colorado Springs — shared a joint statement with The Pueblo Chieftain:
“Amy was a beautiful person inside and out. She had an unforgettable laugh that was loud and contagious,” the statement read.
“No matter the distance and differences, there was, and always will be, unconditional love and an unbreakable bond between siblings. Her beautiful soul will never be forgotten,” the statement read.

I search only using the surname "Gleason" and all the relevant parties come up. You can do that in Huerfano County -- it's very small, and they're the only "Gleason's" ....Oh - I didn't even look them up! Thanks for that info! And you mention his mother.... I don't know her name, but I guess I will just put in Gleason in the name part & see if I can find it.

from the court site - 3/10 hearing was changed. Also I just noticed that Kasey Gleason is ALSO on the court site for the murder charge - ?? Anyone know what her charges are?? Or is she just there since he is still a minor??

Correct - mother Kasey appears in both criminal and civil dockets for her minor child.
Criminal Parental Liability
Laws making parents criminally responsible for the delinquent acts of their children followed the civil liability statutes. In 1903, Colorado was the first state to enact a law against "contributing to the delinquency of a minor." At least 42 other states and DC now have laws against contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Looks the wrongful death suit is no longer on the court site. Thinking they "might" have worked something out on yesterday's hearing - ?? I'm not getting any current articles on this one.

We should check again after Aug 6 because that's what is reported as the last day of the criminal trial. Although WD previously scheduled for April trial date - it's unusual for the civil suit date to precede the criminal trial date since the defendant would typically be instructed to take the 5th amendment since anything said could be used against him in his criminal case.Looks the wrongful death suit is no longer on the court site. Thinking they "might" have worked something out on yesterday's hearing - ?? I'm not getting any current articles on this one.
