'AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Aurora police say a 10-year-old girl is missing from her home on Elmira Street. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation sent out a Missing Endangered Alert late Monday night for Daniela Ruano-Morales.

Police say they do not suspect foul play. You’re asked to call police if you see her.'

Missing Aurora girl Daniela Ruano-Morales still unaccounted for

“It appears that she left on her own. It is unusual for her to run away, especially for this period of time. She was intentionally out of school yesterday."

Daniela’s family said that she was upset on Monday, but there had not been a fight. They noticed that she had left the home around 10 a.m. The family called 911 at 4 p.m. Monday.

Aurora police are asking people to check their property and small spaces.

Aurora police and other law enforcement officers are conducting a house-to-house canvass and are speaking to people on the family’s street to see if anyone has seen Daniela.

Aurora police are also asking anyone who has video of the area near the parent’s home to bring it to them so that they can search for clues.

URGENT: FBI joins search after ‘missing, endangered’ 10-year-old girl misses school & vanishes

'The spokesperson for the Aurora Police Department, Crystal McCoy, said that it appeared that Daniela missed school voluntarily on Monday but it’s highly “unusual” that she would run away. If she did run away, this would be the first time according to what McCoy has been told so far.

Daniela’s parents told authorities she appeared upset on Monday morning, but there was no fights or arguments.

Authorities continued the search on Tuesday, utilizing K-9s and drones in the search efforts. The FBI has also joined in.

FBI joins ramped-up search for missing 10-year-old Aurora girl

AURORA, Colo. -- A 10-year-old girl was reported missing from her home on Monday morning, the Aurora Police Department said.

The girl was last seen at her home in the 1900 block of Elmira Street at 10 a.m., police said.

Daniela Ruano-Morales is described as a Hispanic female, 4-foot-10 inches and 65 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a gray tank top and flower sweats. Police say she does not have any mental or physical disabilities.

There are a lot of registered sex offenders in the motels along that stretch of Colfax, and sex trafficking. Usually I am the last person to go right to sex trafficking (esp. in cases of middle class adult women like Mollie) but given that area and the fact that endangered runaways are frequent targets, it's more of a concern. We live about 3-4 miles west on Montview of where Daniela was last seen; I will certainly keep my eyes peeled for her, poor little cutie.
