The picture I was talking about has four people. I posted a link a little while ago.

Dylansmom, I saw the photo you posted. Honestly I'm not sure who that is. My guess would be that is Mom's boyfriend as the brother looks his current age and Mom and Dad have been divorced quite a while.

Another night in the 20's in Vallecito. Praying Dylan is someplace safe and warm. Where are you Buddy??

She said Dylan’s father Mark Redwine said he last saw his son at around 7:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, noticed he wasn’t around at around 11 a.m., and reported him missing at around 4:30 p.m. that day. Mark Redwine lives at the north end of County Road 500 at Vallecito.

why did he wait so long to report him missing? Where did he think his son was???

The article above is worded much differently than earlier ones. This one says Dad last saw him at 7:30, then 'noticed' at 11 am that he was not around.

Earlier articles said dad left at 7:30 to do 'errands.' And returned at 11:30 and his son was not home.

WHICH ONE IS IT?

And in either case, why did he wait until 4:30 to report him missing? The boy did not know anyone in the area, so he had to know his son wasn't at a friends house. So where did he think he was? I don't think there are any stores or restaurants nearby the dad's house. So what did he do from 11 to 4 to try and locate his missing son?

I wonder what time he called his ex?

JERRY McBRIDE/Durango Herald “Someone knows where he is,” Elaine Redwine, right, said Friday during an interview at a friend’s home. Searchers continue to look for Redwine’s son, Dylan, 13. Elaine Redwine’s son Cory Redwine, 21, sits next to her

So is Cory also Mark's son? I guess so, since he goes by Redwine. But I had assumed the older son was from an earlier marriage. Have they been together since 22 yrs ago?

She said she drove here from Colorado Springs Monday evening, “as soon as I found out he was missing. I was on the road by 5:30 p.m. I also called the Sheriff’s Office.”

I just got caught up reading through the thread. Unfortunately I don't have much to add, just that this case really bothers me. A 13 year old running away for a week? I am very worried about this young guy.

Hey Dylan, we all just want you to be safe.

So it sounds like Mark called her at the same time he reported his son missing. He didn't call her at 11:30 when he first 'noticed' his son was not at home.

I would have thought he might call her around noon, once he couldn't find him around the house. I would have called to see if she had heard from him, or if she knew what his plans were that day. But it sounds like he didnt call her until late afternoon.

This article from the Denver Post states that the dad didn't contact police until around 6:00 pm.

Mark Redwine told investigators that he left the home early Monday morning to run some errands. When he returned four hours later, he said, Dylan was gone. He reported the child missing around 6 p.m. after reportedly searching the area that afternoon.

now we have Dylan missing around 6 p.m.

It was 4-4:30......

perhaps poor reporting...

I wish we would hear from the friend that he was supposed to meet up with 'early' on Monday. I wonder if the friend ever contacted him on Monday. LE said that the last phone calls on Dylan's cell were made Sunday night.

If he had plans to meet up on Monday morning, then his friend must have tried to call him at some pint that morning.

It also seems odd that the boy would run away when he had plans to meet up with his friend early that morning. I am not buying the runaway scenario.

Maybe he wasn't reporting missing until 6 because he had an errand to do 'after dark' and couldn't report his son missing until that errand was done.

I think it's possible that he may have had contact with his friend (or someone else) via the Father's home computer. I sure wish we knew if the home and computer were searched. Maybe now that the FBI is involved, the fathers home computer (if there is one) will be looked at.

But i think he did that errand at 7am!

might want to look at white pages.com

dad's address maybe listed as bayfield....could possibly have a Sr. after his name...

i believe Dylan went missing from county road 500

It is time for a reward fund to be established.

One Dylan FB page says that the family has established a fund at a bank to assist in the search for Dylan.

According to Pine River FB ... his mom wanted us to listen to his favorite song.

I'm just catching up on this thread and have numerous pages to go, but this song struck me. It's an older song, a song I really like and have never really "listened" to the lyrics, which are quite powerful. I have a 12 year old, just 1 year younger than Dylan. I pray that as I read on, there is good news and this sweet boy has been hiding with friends and will come home soon. :please:

I believe I read that Dylan's Dad recently moved to Vallecito from Bayfield so it may be slightly outdated information.
