To each, their own.

Here to stand witness for Gannon. The torture and abuse he had to endure by the monster he trusted to keep him safe. May her name never be spoken and she rots behind bars, after this trial is over. That poor baby. If he had to actually experience it, I will not turn away from him when his story is being told.
Oh, I'm pretty sure she was rotted long before she showed up in Colorado. Depraved soul.

I am always floored by the level of gall that murderers often share -- who, even after the most senseless and heinous of murders, continue to collect minor injustices. It takes a special class of crass to minimize the ongoing abuse (from the night before) and the brutal murder of a child while dramatizing and exaggerating perceived slights.

T, no one cares about your peanut butter messages.

Frankly I pity the peanut butter that has to spend time with her.

Supposedly, LC gets to choose whether she wants to stay in a holding cell at the courthouse. Did I read that correctly? She will be transported to courthouse daily for trial (no trial on Thursdays) but has the option not to be present at trial and stay in holding cell?
I don't believe that's uncommon regarding pre-trial. Please someone correct me if I am wrong.

Thank you @NeverPersonal, I didn't know if it meant pre-trial or trial or both. It was issued 3/20/2023 day of jury selection so maybe for trial (jury selection) only.

The Order was issued and signed by Judge Werner on March 1st and uploaded to the Court site on March 20th.

It’s for the entirety of the trial.

The CJC ( County jail) is approximately 5 miles from the Courthouse. Judge is saying she cannot sit in her cell and refuse to be transported to the Courthouse as she’s tried in the past.

I wonder if we are going to be seeing dramatics from Leticia the first day of trial. I'm wondering if she will be in the courtroom or hiding in a cell at the courthouse unable to face people. I can't see her sitting quietly as everyone is hearing of her evilness jmoo
I think we're all wondering the same.
She's going to be thrust back into the public arena so, who knows what the evil woman has planned.
Probably nothing good.

Okay, I went back to the post where this began.

Here is what I say and CONTINUE to say (and this is the first post in the series and there's no mention of "smart" anywhere):

//higher than average intelligence//

Higher than average != smart. Smart = high or very high intelligence or top 10%ile or thereabouts. Not the people who are just above average in intelligence (people who are below average or just above average are over-represented in jails and prisons). The word "average" and the word "smart" do not go together.

I hope people realize that those who have an IQ of 100 are not typically able to fool school administrators and others into hiring them into the teaching ranks and then putting them in the role of curriculum specialist.

Higher than average intelligence means 100+. And as I said in the initial post, like many antisocial people (it's part of the research on antisocial people), these people think that because they are in a room of 100 and are "smarter" than 50 of them, that they are geniuses.

That's not how it works. I don't think anyone who studies IQ thinks "high intelligence" starts until at least IQ of 125. The group where LS sits (101-110, let's say) is over represented in prisons because while they are smarter than "average" (which isn't very smart at all to try and go through several college programs), they are not as smart as they think they are. If she came in at 115-118 before her recent decomposition, I wouldn't be surprised.

High intelligence (being smart) means 125 and over, to me. High average is 101-110/115. I hope this makes it clearer. Very high is 160 and over. There are examples of intelligent killers, but Letecia Stauch is decidedly not one of them. Her character disorder was my point.

There are certain studied character flaws that make a person think of themselves as smarter than they really are. People who are BELOW average in intelligence, interestingly, rarely have this set of flaws! But people just above average are more like to have those flaws. Is my point.

A person who is highly intelligent and regards themselves as intelligent is not lying to themselves or delusional. A person with an IQ of 110 (and she writes in the style of that IQ group, IMO) has some kind of hole in their perception if they believe they are "very intelligent" (which I think Letecia does think).

I live about 10 miles from the EPC Courthouse. I’ve been thinking about attending at least a day or two of trial, but it won’t be in the next few days. With the high winds and dangerous Fire conditions right now it’s best I stay home with my dog in case we have to grab our go-bags.

Last May a 182 acre grass fire started right behind my back fence and we were one of 50 homes evacuated. If something happens I need to be able to get to my dog.

So I’ll be watching/listening via WebEx and posting tweets here.

Local media only. Not going to share the National court/crime ones that depend on YouTubers for their background on the case.

Already Getting a little irked at the YouTubers gearing up to make “entertainment “ of this trial.

Sorry, getting a little emotional and protective here.
I know I’m in good company here with all of us that are here for Gannon.

I would love to run into Spencer W. and shake his hand ;)

I want her to sit in the courtroom and LISTEN to every single horrendous detail of what she did to this sweet child AND sit there embarrassed at all the idiotic things she did afterwards. I want her to feel the eyes on her and listen to the autopsy report and see the pictures. I am so upset that she has the option to not attend her trial and to sit in a holding cell.

Landon does not get the option to just not face each day without Gannon and this piece of garbage shouldn't be able to avoid facing what she did.

4/3/23 Final Jury Selection begins. 120 potential jurors. Judge Werner ruled there will be 16 peremptory challenges for each side. Judge told lawyers to be there at 8:30am on Monday & one group of Jurors at 9:00am, another group at 11:00am. Judge says if the Jurors are selected in time, we may hear opening statements Monday afternoon. He’s given each side one hour for opening.

corrected my mistake...

3/30/23: Motion to allow victims family to be present at all criminal justice proceedings & designate a personal representative. Motion to appeal amended nondissemination order for Kay & Larry Woodcock.

Is this correct? I thought Kay and Larry were the Vallow trial.

She is going to put on a show, to keep trying to prove she is insane. I am angry just thinking about it.
