The judge gave Sigg the possibility of parole after 40 years, but because first-degree murder was just one of 15 counts to which Sigg pleaded guilty, he will spend to rest of his life in prison.

So true. I'll never forget seeing officers comb the countryside for her body near Rock Creek. I think about it every time I have to drive past. I was terrified for my children and the thought of us shopping in the same stores, eating in the same places, eek. This man is as sick as it gets.

It was stated during Monday's testimony he made her change into a white t-shirt and black shorts that were in his closet, they belonged to him. Jessica wore the same type of clothing during a cheer camp/competition at the high school. There are photos of her. The prosecution suggested he had seen her and was acting out a fantasy by having her change clothes and cutting her hair, therefore making the crime premeditated. The defense countered with there is no proof of this being his fantasy, it is purely speculation.

I found a lot of documents (search warrants and arrest affidavits) here that I haven't seen yet. They were just unsealed recently, because the court lifted the ban on pretrial publicity.

Well now... those of you who were frightened that Sigg would be out in 40 yrs needed no worry. The judge threw everything he had at him and he'll never be free. Just as I predicted -- Sigg will die in prison, probably long before the first set of 40 yrs is up, but in any event, his only way out of prison will be in a body bag.

I am finished with the likes of AS. He was sentenced as he deserved. ( broken and no way to fix it). All this newly released protected information does not change that. I am proud to live in Colorado, I am proud of this judge for standinbg up to the dictates of the defense who " are honored to defend this child" ( insert depraved individual) . I will respect Jessica and her Mother's wish to remember her as she lived and not how she died

No no, I posted a document also earlier. I just was trying to say the judge rendered the correct sentence. This is a disturbed individual. We all sleuthed this without any unsealed information. Justice was served today. The unsealed information does not change that, it only confirms. Ugghhh disturbing confirmation!
