Faded orange, everywhere, with the exception of the faded primer- one solid color, pay attention to the round headlights, could be a GMC or Chevrolet pickup (having a heck of a time with my internet connection, keeps cutting out aurgh!)

Investigators believe that the latest 2 incidents in Loveland are probably linked to each other- but investigators are not linking the events in Loveland to the first 2 incidents at this time. Reporters asking if other person shot at is a man, woman, on bicycle, or walking- Public information officer from the Larimer Sheriff Dept. is not going to give that information. People asked if they see the truck to call 911- get a photo if they can, follow what the dispatchers say on the phone.

I keep losing the darn feed!
That's a pretty distinct vehicle! Someone will recognize it. Glad they released the info.

Ugh, hopefully one of the news stations will upload the whole conference later. My internet flaked out in the middle of it. Sorry! I tried to transcribe... :gaah:

Investigators believe it is likely these two incidents are related and is seeking information about this vehicle of interest. Specifically, the task force needs the public’s help in locating a 1970’s model, full-size, single cab Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck that is faded orange in color with a full-size bed. It is possibly a 1973 – 1979 model GM pickup based on the round headlight shape. The pickup is one color, faded orange, and has black primer on the driver’s side body

This might be splitting hairs, but they didn't say "full-sized truck", they actually said "full-sized bed". Which of course are two different things.

Edit: Sorry, please disregard, I'm actually incorrect :)

Truck maybe involved in NoCo shooting incidents shown

"LARIMER COUNTY - The Task Force investigating the recent shooting incidents in Larimer County, Windsor and Loveland released a sketch of a vehicle they believe was involved, authorities announced Tuesday."

"Task force investigators were able to develop what they believe to be a depiction of a vehicle of interest based on several interviews and canvasses during the investigation. The description is a 1970s model full-size single-cab Chevrolet or GMC pickup based on the round headlight shape. The pickup is one color - a faded orange - and has black primer on the driver's side body."

My exact thought. Someone definitely knows who owns that distinctive-looking truck!

Am I understanding correctly that someone waited until just recently to report to police that they were shot at all the way back on June 3rd?

Thanks folks for attempting to transcribe :) (9 news on TV cut off the PC to tell us about how "there is not a cloud in the sky" at the Denver Botanical Gardens. :banghead: Hopefully we can watch it in its entirety somewhere.

*The spokesperson was adamant about stressing that this is NOT a two-toned vehicle.

A person recently reported to the task force they were shot at the night of June 3 in the area of Denver Avenue and East Eisenhower Boulevard in Loveland. That is approximately two miles from East 1st Street and St. Louis Avenue where William Connole was shot during the late evening hours that same night. The person shot at was not injured.

I don't yet understand what happened with the man who was shot but not hurt on 6/3/15. But the location of the yellow star is where it is reported to have happened.

A faded orange pickup with black parts that would be over where body work may have been done.

to a LIVESTREAM video of the Task Force press conference.

Thanx for sharing, Forager.. Surely it didn't take a week to draw a sketch of a pick up truck.. Imo, the negative reaction to the task force's four page Letter is likely why the vehicle of interest description/sketch is being released. I am just glad that the task force is finally utilizing their most valuable investigative resource; the American public..

Set your clocks folks.. I am confident that the owner/operator of the vehicle of interest of the June 3/2015 shooting will be identified in less than 36 hours, prolly much less.. Hopefully they will then be tied to the other north CO shootings and murder cases...

Chevy pickups of that vintage are fairly common in this area. The good news is that orange was never a popular color for these trucks. This one may have started out doing road repair.

Footwarrior, was/is orange the color of the vehicles used for County Road Maintenance or CODOT vehicles in the 1970s, if you know?
