BINGO! We have a winner!Wow. Fingernail. Marks. Wow.
@CrimeTalkPod
Suzanne Morphew’s bike was found with handlebars twisted 180 degrees. “Ghost riding” - cable wraps around stem. Someone’s pushing the bike instead of riding it.

BINGO! We have a winner!Wow. Fingernail. Marks. Wow.
Omg, he didn’t really say that, did he?Suddenly, the defense team welcomes "cute girls in Salida" search.
Does anyone remember if this mine was on the search grids?
If there was a scuffle...I would totally expect Barry to remove her bathing suit andOr, she was, and he shot her with the tranq dart, she ran into the house & to the bedroom and he forced his way in. At some point he removed her bathing suit and put it where she normally kept it. That's as far as I can bring myself to type. If the fingernail scratches are from her, I hope it hurt like hell.

So...Barry was photoed wearing that blue "Nine Line" tee shirt? That really got my attention when saw him wearing it..."Nine Line" is a military reference to a medevac or evac request for a soldier that is injured or on the battlefield. It symbolizes not leaving a fallen comrad behind....that sort of thing. How ironic, if not offensive that he would wear that tee shirt.Lauren Scharf

#BarryMorphew had pointed to black bicycle shorts which they put in a ziploc bag. The undersheriff also said there were riding gloves wadded up on the floor. Morphew is escorted out of the home. He was in the home from 9:37 p.m. until 9:40 p.m.
Lauren Scharf
@LaurenScharfTV
The undersheriff said this was the first time #BarryMorphew was able to go into the home. He is not asking any questions or looking around in the home. He isn't trying to call #SuzanneMorphew phone. The last place he saw her alive and isn't asking questions or looking at the bed
Ashley Franco
@AshleyKKTV
Undersheriff says #BarryMorphew never asked questions when they were in the house for the first time since #SuzanneMorphew went missing. He says it's notable that Barry didn't try to call Suzanne, he didn't ask questions, he didn't look at the bed which is last place he saw her.

·The state is asking the undersheriff about hunting. Asking if he knows when elk shed their antlers. Undersheriff Rohrich said they typically shed their antlers before March and that Bulls and Cows aren't typically together in May. #BarryMorphew preliminary hearing
Lauren Scharf
@LaurenScharfTV
Undersheriff Rohrich is now talking about tranquilizer darts and guns. He has used them for four years. Explaining how you use them putting the solution in the dart and then put it in the gun. He used them for vicious dogs when he was animal control officers.
Lauren Scharf
@LaurenScharfTV
He said that more times than not he would have to chase after the dog after shooting it with a tranquilizer dart. Sometimes the dogs would be found in peoples yards later and he would be called. He would also catch cats.
Lauren Scharf
@LaurenScharfTV
The undersheriff said deer would absolutely runoff. Didn't find any animal in the home that their antlers had been cut off. There were antlers in the home, but no cut antlers.
(WAY TO GO SUZANNE! .. my words)

Exhibit 93, 94: Pictures of #SuzanneMorphew bike found off of CR225. Scott Banks was interviewed and is a bike mechanic. He had put new tires on Suzanne's bike on May 7, 2020
Ashley Franco
@AshleyKKTV
Undersheriff says #SuzanneMorphew got new wheels on her bike on May 7th. When bike was found, the handles were turned almost 180- bike expert told deputies that happens when someone pushes the bike. He said there wasn't any sign of a crash.
@KKTV11News
Lauren Scharf
@LaurenScharfTV
Handlebars were twisted 180 degrees. Can be called "ghost riding," this is seen with kids when they push a bike the tires want to turn. If the bike had been wrecked the mechanic said the handlebars and bike seat would not be centered but that wasn't the case here.
Ashley Franco
@AshleyKKTV
Defense now questioning the Undersheriff. She starts with asking him about what was seen on the bodycam of #BarryMorphew going inside the home. Defense says he was given instruction to go inside and go directly to something #SuzanneMorphew was wearing
Ashley Franco
@AshleyKKTV
They say he was given specific instructions to do that, and #BarryMorphew followed those instructions and did not look around or make a call. #SuzanneMorphew

Eytan is now cross-examining Undersheriff Andy Rohrich. She is asking if #BarryMorphew followed the deputy task when he entered the home. He agreed he followed the directions to go into the home and find a place where she is wearing something and points out Suzanne's clothing

Now a cross from Eytan. Eytan: Barry was instructed ‘when we go inside, go directly to a place where Suzanne’s clothes would be.’
He was following a direction of the law enforcement. He is asked to get a plastic bag, he gets it, then they leave.

Eytan: Barry was ‘emotional’ when he arrived
Rohrich: I would disagree

Defense says #BarryMorphew got to the scene of where #SuzanneMorphew bike found and was very emotional. Undersheriff says he disagrees. Defense says dispatch called him and when they called Barry he was very emotional. Undersheriff agrees.

Now speaking about prescription drugs found in the #Morphew home and Walmart surveillance on May 6 at 12:30 p.m. of Suzanne picking up a white paper bag at the pharmacy but none found in the home for that date.

@LaurenScharfTV
Now talking about the 2:03 p.m. sunbathing photo #SuzanneMorphew sent to Jeff Libler on May 9. The bikini was found in the master closet with other bathing suits. There was no blood on the bikini or tears, according to the defense
Ashley Franco
@AshleyKKTV
Defense turning now to bikini #SuzanneMorphew was wearing in the picture she sent to Jeff Libler day before she went missing. Defense says it was found in the master closet and there was no blood on it.
Carol McKinley
@CarolAMcKinley
Iris Eytan, Morphew's attorney, points out #suzannemorphew texted a selfie of her in a bikini to her lover, Jeffrey Libler, on Sat afternoon May 10th. One of her last texts. That bikini had no blood or tears on it when it was seen in the master BR closet the next night
Lauren Scharf
@LaurenScharfTV
The bikini wasn't collected as evidence. In the photo of #SuzanneMorphew sunbathing, you can only see a small portion of the bikini strap so can't tell if it had been torn or any of the photos from the closet, according to the undersheriff.
Ashley Franco
@AshleyKKTV
Defense asks Undersheriff about surveillance at a Loaf 'n Jug with car that looks like #SuzanneMorphew car. Undersheriff says he disagrees. Defense says he didn't put that in report. He says a different person did the report and he disagrees. Defense says he changed his mind.
Ashley Franco
@AshleyKKTV
He continues to re-iterate that he did not write the report. She fights back saying he never put in his report that he disputed the claims of the deputy who did the report. She asks "did you change your mind because it doesn't line up with the murder timeline?"
Carol McKinley
@CarolAMcKinley
correction : bikini selfie was May 9th. master closet search was late at night around 1030 May 10th. Sorry!!!

About 90 percent of people are right-handed, says Corballis.
You're right, there's nothing there. Sorry.I was trying to pull it up on google maps to get a visual/direction of all the stops he made.
Yeah, you have to go into satellite view and pin it. Someone managed to get Puma Path removed from google maps regular view. Too many poking around.I am having a very hard time pulling up the PP house address on google maps. Is anyone else having a hard time or is it just me? It keeps telling me no search found.
This is new to me so I had to do a quick search:
It's called ghost riding: A person rides one bicycle while steering another, creating the appearance of a ghostly rider accompanying them while they travel.
Good girl! Poor thing.Yep. Suzanne rocks.
Why would he turn around at the Garfield Mine so early in the morning? It doesn't look like there is anything else in the area. Very curious about abandoned mines now: how accessible are they to search? Was that mine searched? Could it be searched?
I think it means it was pushed, rather than ridden. But I might be wrong.I am a bit confused by this and what it means to the case (the handlebars and ghost riding). Is it suggesting someone else was there with a bike? Does this mean the bike was likely not just tossed?
Not a biker beyond the basics so it is pretty foreign

In the last hearing, it was said the searches for Suzanne continue, most recently a mine. Didn't say the location.Does anyone remember if this mine was on the search grids?
I swear, it seems that this guy took a little bit from Josh Powell, Chris Watts and Fotis Dulos!Why would he turn around at the Garfield Mine so early in the morning?
