Murphy has yet to rule whether or not Morphew will get out on bail. He is still explaining his probably cause decision. Keep an eye out for the arrest affidavit which may be released today.

Judge said finding out that #SuzanneMorphew was having an affair gives him motive. Feeling of hurt, anger, jealousy, and desperation. It could lead someone who is typically normal to act differently like harm someone who has harmed him.

Judge said the "I'm done" text means that she was done with the marriage and the "Let's just do this civilly," meaning dissolution of marriage. The text to Jeff Libler said that "these next few days are going to be rough" shows that #SuzanneMorphew wanted out of the marriage.

The judge is now saying it that despite her body never being found, there is a lot of evidence that she is no longer alive — news coverage would make it hard to hide, she left her favorite things behind, she didn’t have financial means, she was a dedicated mom, etc.

The judge says it is unlikely #SuzanneMorphew went on a bike ride the morning of May 10th. He says several of her items were not with her and some of her items were in the fire and it’s likely she would’ve taken those with her if she left. #BarryMorphew

The judge is going over the evidence. Speaking about the doorframe photo that showed force entry. Text messages saying #SuzanneMorphewdidn't feel safe alone with #BarryMorphew and said he was unstable. Showing that Morphew was capable of harming Suzanne.

The judge also said her lack of phone use points to be not being alive, rather than being in hiding somewhere: “The court can infer that when her phone went silent, Mrs. Morphew also went silent.”

The prosecution is now saying that Barry has received books in jail about how to live off the land, that he’s spent time in Mexico, and they think he’s a “significant danger to flee.”
