He disappeared during the war. I had a brother in law who also disappeared but during the Christmas period there was a prisoner exchange and he was released by the Serbs who had captured him. He said that a lot of prisoners with him never made it. My b.i.l. was taken when a bus he was travelling on was taken over by the Serbs and we knew nothing until he appeared at the exchange. We thought he was dead.

My son in law's grandmother was in Vukovar. When the war started he was phoning her constantly to make sure she was o.k....but we all know what happened to Vukovar. Decimated....His grandmother was probably buried under the rubble. Never heard from her again and the Red Cross had no information on her. I think Boban is a casualty of war. There were so many mass graves with unidentified remains.
