Was another date set for the probate court? The website doesn't "work" with any information I can find.

Trying to remember what some of the loose ends are:
  • NP's reimbursement to the court.
  • The contested items at 4JX.
  • The decision about the declaration of JFD's death.
  • Who emptied safety deposit box #1?
  • What was in box #1?
  • Is Jennifer's family getting the Tiffany ring from Box #2?
  • When is the judge going to make a decision about an evidentiary hearing?
What about the other Dulos lawyers' bills? Murray, Rochlin... Either the estate owes them as creditors, or if they have something left of their retainers, they owe the estate. If they're creditors, wonder how they feel about Pattis' hefty retainer? Then, wonder if NP got paid for his partial representation of FD in the divorce case, before Rochlin took it over, and also for working on the post-trial brief in the Farber civil case.

Fd Also Owed, the children's Guardian Ad Litem, Michael Meehan.

Attorney for Jennifer Dulos’ kids wants to get paid and his role defined in custody battle

"Attorney Michael Meehan, a court-appointed guardian ad litem for the five Dulos children, is asking the judge overseeing the two-year divorce to hold a status conference to discuss his fees and his future role in the case."

"Farber’s attorneys have claimed Fotis Dulos owes Meehan $43,000 in unpaid fees. Both parents were responsible for paying for Meehan’s services."

IMO.

Been doing a little research lately and your article above reminded me of an article I 'rediscovered' this week. This article says FD paid "fees" on May 22, 2019...interesting timing, imo, and SO MANY questions! Did he think it was his last payment...ever? Did he need to pay the fees to ensure that he saw the kids and had access to them on May 25th? Did he reimburse Jennifer or pay directly? Was the check ever cashed? MOO

‘I’m not Charles Manson:’ Court transcripts show escalating tension and anger in two-year Dulos divorce

"The court-appointed guardian for the couple’s children, Michael Meehan, who Farber Dulos wanted removed from the case, has already been paid $175,000 through December of 2018, records show. Dr. Stephen Herman, a child psychiatrist who authored a recent custody report, was paid more than $40,000 despite leaving the witness stand during cross-examination by Farber Dulos’ attorney Reuben Midler, and refusing to finish his testimony, which could make his report moot in family court.

There are also costs for a family therapist, three psychologists and court-approved monitors, paid about $150 an hour, who must supervise Dulos’ visits with his children. Records show Dulos has had at least 20-25 supervised visits with his children since Farber Dulos filed for divorce in 2017.

Those fees were paid on May 22 when Dulos went to Farber Dulos’ house in New Canaan for a cookout in the backyard with his children. A monitor kept an eye on him as he played basketball with his two oldest sons and ate dinner, taking copious notes of the evening that he would later have to turn over to the court.

Two days later, Farber Dulos, 50, was reported missing, the victim of “a violent act” that took place in her garage, according to Stamford/Norwalk State’s Attorney Richard Colangelo."

So many fees...

"After Herman’s report was finished, he testified about it in a closed courtroom, but Midler could not complete his cross-examination once Herman left the witness stand and refused to return to court. Because of that, the sealed report is not officially part of the family court file, though Pattis is arguing in criminal court to have it unsealed."

I'm surprised I was able to access the whole HC article from your link, without hitting the pay-wall. About Dr. Herman's report--is that the one that MT's lawyer, JS, is now trying to get? If it's not "officially part of the family court file" wouldn't they have to go to Dr. Herman himself for it--getting into patient confidentiality and federal law?

Meehan, however, suggested to LE at the very beginning of the search for JFD that the evaluation might be useful in that search. After LE obtained the record, NP claimed he needed an official copy, despite the fact that he had seen the pilfered copy FD had in his possession.

Since LE has a copy of the report, Schoenhorn's argument is that he is entitled to see the report. He promised to keep it "secret." However, in the news conference after the most recent pre-trial hearing, he told the press that anything he filed with the court he would share with them.

MT, mother, and sister also vigorously gave positive nods indicating they wanted to view the report to see what it said about MT. (This rather diminishes JS's promise of secrecy.) Hope HIPAA and common sense prevail with privacy issues concerning the children and JFD.

Furthermore, there are reviews online about Dr. Herman that give the impression he lacks objectivity and can be swayed by his personal likes and dislikes. IMO...MOO

If JF sought psychiatric help, it's shameful but not surprising FD would exploit that.

I can't myself fathom the entirety of what he put her through, in the last four years alone. And the tragic outcome which proved everything she feared about him.

MT wanted FD so JF couldn't have him.

FD wanted the children so JF couldn't have them.

MT and FD epitomize selfishness and greed.

JF, grace and -- generosity of spirit.

In life and death, she fought with every ounce of blood she had to protect her children.

While MT still fights for Legos.

Unbelievable....but not surprising.

*Plea Hearing (@ 10am ET) – CT – Fotis Dulos (52) - *Brad Ragaglia (61) was arrested & charged (2/2/20) with 1st degree criminal trespassing. Bond is $1500 (non-surety); released from custody.
He showed up at Fotis’ door Christmas Eve (2019) being invited by Fotis. Ragaglia gifted Fotis holy water, capsules of magnesium & two spiritual books. They exchanged phone numbers. They texted for about a week. Fotis thought the holy water & capsules might be poisoned. Police never tested them. February 2nd — after Fotis’ death. That's when police say they found Ragaglia trespassing at 80 Mountain Spring Road. It’s another Dulos property searched in connection to the murder investigation. Ragaglia was charged with first degree trespassing.
2/2/20 Update: Next court date 4/22/20 awaiting plea. 4/22/20 Update: Hearing has been rescheduled due to the coronavirus to 7/8/20. 7/8/20 Update: Hearing has been rescheduled to 8/19/20. 8/19/20 Update: Plea hearing has been rescheduled to 9/30/20. 9/30/20 Update: Plea hearing continued to 11/4/20.

So....KM had his bail reduced and this is MT's bid to have hers reduced? This is what comes up on the docket for the above docket, but no explanation of what a disposition hearing could be. Anyone understand what this means?

The new charges might reduce these charges? The bond amount was $100,000.

OR is this a possibility:
Pretrial
Most courts have a judge who controls the criminal docket. This judge is called the “presiding judge”. This judge will sit as the final arbiter of the matter. They will decide if the case cannot be resolved without a trial. After a judicial pretrial, the court will make an offer to resolve the case. This happens after hearing from the prosecution and the defense lawyer. The sides often propose different disposition possibilities and the judge listens to both sides. The judge decides a reasonable disposition given the legal and factual claims both sides make.

If you, your attorney and the state agree on a disposition of the case you may be required to do a number of different things. Some of these things involve paying a fine, completing alcohol counseling or complying with probation. If you plead guilty to a crime, which may be punishable by some period of jail time, the judge must ask you a series of questions to determine if you are knowingly and voluntarily pleading to the charges. The judge must also agree to give you the disposition that you agreed upon. Even if the judge does not approve, the judge must allow you to withdraw your plea.

What is the Connecticut Court Procedure For Criminal Cases?

So - if I am understanding the lastest - MT's 11/13 hearing has been moved to 11/24? Just want to keep my notes straight! :D

TIA! :)

Here's the information...just unsure what the change in identifying the hearing from pre-trial in the notice to Disposition Hearing means. It looks like it may be related to the change in charging from tampering with physical evidence to Conspiracy to commit tampering with physical evidence. I am not certain, however. :

I did read something about a woman who (unsuccessfully) filed a complaint against him with, I think, the Psychiatric *advertiser censored*'n. For his demeanor, etc., when he interviewed her--said he yelled at her, etc.

What Happened to Missing Connecticut Mother Jennifer Dulos?

At publication time, the cases continue against Dulos’s two co-defendants Troconis and Mawhinney. At some point, they will either enter into a plea agreement or move forward to trial.

Schoenhorn claims that as part of the discovery process, the prosecution gave him more than 100,000 documents, photos and videos, in three separate “document dumps” without an index, a move he calls “a cynical strategy.”

Schoenhorn also says he believes evidence is being withheld that could undermine the state’s theory that a red 2001 Toyota Tacoma owned by one of Fotis Dulos’s employees was used to transport Jennifer Dulos the day of her disappearance.

In response, Colangelo says he had provided all parties with all of the information he has to date: “The state is not in the business of withholding evidence,” he says.

The next scheduled pre-trial hearing in the Troconis case is slated for November 13, 2020.
