Surely LE knew about her diminished state from Day 1 (how the heck would you hide being that drunk/hungover at 4am) but if not is it possible she is throwing the drunk, blacked out, whatever out now to start an accidental death defense or as an defense to why she didn't hear anything? Would being drunk be a defense to an accidental death? Would it change how she is charged?

I imagine realizing the baby is dead would have a sobering influence.

If there was activity around 2:38 a.m. as has been hinted at (phone activity), then that gives from that point until 4:00+ to get rid of evidence of an accident, clean up, gargle a gallon of mouthwash, etc.

I wonder if anyone noticed what Deborah was wearing when JI got home? Was she in PJs? Had she crashed in her clothes? Was she in different clothes than the ones she was seen in earlier that evening? (Are there clothes that were trashed because they now contain traces of bodily fluids, for example).

I'm at the point of believing the lights were all on because DB had just enough time to cover up and maybe literally dove into bed when she heard JI come home. I still do not believe he's involved. I DO believe she had a helper clean up evidence and remove the baby from the home.

I can see both sides of wanting and not wanting your other child interviewed more than once.
I'm sure it is hard on them to talk about, however, I would think it would be harder on them to deal with years of wondering where their sister is and what happened to her if she isn't found.
Personally, IMO I think DB is hiding some details and she doesn't want the boys to spill the beans.

Children are easily confused and easy to manipulate. I don't trust LE, if they are bent on me as the prime suspect to not try to trick my child into to saying x,y or z.

I don't actually care about what the result would be for me, but how that would impact him down the road, to think it was his fault I was arrested or whatever.

To help him through the trauma of losing his sister, I'd get him a child psychologist, and if he remembered details of the night as a result, they would be relayed to LE via his psychologist, or me, if I was the one he told.

I just really wouldn't trust LE to ethically interview my kid.

I'm beginning to wonder, because JI didn't appear too concerned about DB's wine intake, if he isn't prone to drink as much himself... Both were very nonchalant about it. mo

I wondered that too..but the bigger question for me is HE found this ACCEPTABLE? YIKES - what else went on in that house?

DB should offer to be hypnotized since her memory is clearly foggy. Does hypnotism work to restore drunken blackouts?

I don't think so.

I would be interested to hear from the female friend as to how much wine the mother had to understand whether this drunk story is just a cover.

I lean towards mom being a closet drinker and NOT wanting her husband to know. Therefore, the lie detector is showing deceit on her part. Maybe she had not drank in a long time and took advantage of her husband being out that night to party. She may feel horribly remorseful and negligent about not knowing what happened because she was doing something she was NOT supposed to be doing. Hence no driver's license - maybe a dui or two.

Yes, which is why LE could interview him once in the first place. But only once. Any other information could be relayed to LE via my son's child psychologist or me. They don't need access to him. And they damn sure wouldn't get it.

Regarding which cases DB may have followed: Of course, the Anthony trial is very fresh, she probably followed that... I suspected as much by their savvy brokering with the networks. Notice every interview has a couple of new still photos, regardless if they depict her as a newborn. $$$$$

He might remember something later. Just like Elizabeth Smart's sister remembered later who it was that took Elizabeth. Which eventually led to recovery of Elizabeth. So, sorry, that makes no sense to me whatsoever.

She also said at the start of her show, Noon ct that they uncovered a "major inconsistency" in the family story and they will reveal it and the family's defense to it.

Megyn Kelly on FOX just reported that they have uncovered a "major" inconsistency in the interview she did with DB and JI last weekend. She will be reporting on it at noon central time. I wonder if this is just a teaser to get us to watch or truly a big inconsistency?

Also, the 3 interviews I have seen this morning is the first time that I have thought that DB and JI were covering something. Before, I have always thought they were so sincere. I guess the worm turns!

Keep us informed. I continue to think an arrest is imminent, and I believe it will be Debra. JMO. (That's the one thing she's gotten right.) Hope she has already lawyered up.

Megyn just gave a preview of her interview which airs at one PM this afternoon (EST) on Fox news. DB admits to drinking more than 5 glasses of wine in the preview segment shown.
