Actress Tricia McCauley, who is also a yoga teacher, herbalist, and farmer, has been missing since Christmas day. DC police are investigating and were able to get access to her apartment but the search has resulted in few leads.

DC yoga instructor mysteriously disappears

Family and friends are frantically searching for a D.C. yoga instructor who was last heard from Christmas day.
There were a few things Tricia McCauley was supposed to do but didn't.
On Christmas day, the D.C. woman was supposed to have dinner with friends. The next day she was supposed to get on a flight to see family out west.
“She has literally disappeared at this point,” said Kate Debelack.
“This seems absolutely out of character. We don't know if anyone has seen her. We don't know if she's been harmed. We don't know if she's just off the grid,” said Debelack.

D.C. police have released the above photo of a man they said may be driving McCauley's car, a white, two-door Toyota Scion IQ with D.C. plates FC0274.
The man is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, with an athletic or muscular build.
There was a large police presence outside her home in the 2000 block of North Capitol St. NW on Monday night.
McCauley is described as a white female, 5 feet 2 inches and 110 pounds with light brown eyes, brown hair and a light complexion.

Thanks for the info. The photo is good and someone should be able to recognize him...though I'd rather have news about Tricia being found than the POI being identified.

Any info on why this man is a POI?

Tricia's brother posted on the FTM FB page a few hours ago LE told him either her credit or debit card was used at a gas station today. Many people on the FTM page are saying the POI photo is from a CVS, so maybe there was a card activity at a CVS, too, and the quality of security video from there was better than from the gas station.

Hope that she is OK ....

Per FB (so a rumor, but I can vouch for the source), she was supposed to go to a friend's place for dinner on Christmas night, posted that she was on her way at 4:30 and never showed. This, unfortunately, has the feel of a random carjacking or similar to me... On the one hand, it was the middle of the afternoon and still light out; on the other, the streets around here were pretty deserted on Christmas Day, so it wasn't a typical afternoon day by any stretch...

The POI appears to be known in the area where the phone was found. From all reports, I don't think this will have a good ending, sadly.
