Poor baby. All of the children seem very close in age, Emma was the youngest, correct?
If it really is her on that picture, she looked healthy. But there are many, many, many chronic illnesses that don't "show", specially autoimmune diseases/conditions. People with autoimmune diseases often look healthy, but are in great pain. Crohn's Disease is pretty "invisible". Either way, if she did have a chronic illness, she would've have been formely diagnosed with it by an actual doctor, and the poor thing probably went through a bunch of doctors until she was diagnosed with it. And then, after the diagnose, she would've been followed by specialists, probably had to go for regular check-ups and was most likely on some medication.
The thing is, if she passed away from medical reasons, then they could've and should've just call 911. She was probably either abused or very neglected. I'm assuming she died as a result of neglect, most likely they didn't provide her with the adequate medical attention or something along those lines. Whatever happened, they knew they would be in big trouble. I guess we should be on the lookout for their charges.

It's pretty clear that her parents could have been able to do something, so what in the world happened?!

@leilarose68 passed away from what cause?

If she wasn't known to have a terminal illness, wouldn't you call 911 when you found her hoping they could help? You wouldn't assume she was gone!

And in the event of a known terminal illness, she'd be on hospice, and there would be a plan in place for after she passed away.

Plus they aren't living in poverty with no family who could help with a funeral.

My opinions only.

I'm not making excuses for them, just speculating.

I think Kristie is part African American. There's a better picture of her in here: Pa. couple arrested in connection with child remains found in Smyrna

Thanks for the link, i think you are correct about the AA.

On 9/13/19, the remains of an unidentified deceased child were located near the Little Lass fields in Smyrna, Kent County, Delaware. Investigation has revealed that the child was deceased for several weeks or possibly longer. Investigation has also revealed that the child was female, Caucasian or Hispanic, and likely between the ages of 2-5 years old. The child had slightly wavy brown hair. An anthropological exam of her remains suggests that she suffered from chronic illness(es).
Wonder what the chronic illness was ?

This photo is on Brandon's Facebook page and it is dated August 2018 which means it is like from the prior Christmas in 2017? So there's 4 kids in this photo, the little one is probably Emma. It looks a lot like the rendering. How did no one in this family not pipe up about a missing kid?
I also think the youngest one looks like the sketch.
