Defense FINALLY Begins Depo Process

ITA, nums24 - Baez should have deposed YM along with a lot of others wayyyyyy before now. I really, really hope that he is eventually forced to provide an accounting of his spending the $250K (+ who knows how much more). Is this something that is actually going to be allowed to slide by???

I think the "delay" could be strategical...JB hoping for a lot of "I can't remember(s)"...trying to catch LE up in facts that may have faded with memory. Unfortunately, the truth never fades with time. It is what it is. I imagine that a lot of these folks have lost quite a deal of sleep remembering what happened to this poor little girl.

Melich managed to dodge our cameras today. But Baez says the lead detective would not be at liberty to dodge his questions particularly involving some new discovery.

"Discovery that was give to us last week has some substantially important things in it from Melich," said Mason. The defense would only tell us that discovery was involving cellphone pings from a witness that could prove important.

ETA: The state attorney's office is also expected to release more discovery.

The soul focus of Caylee's demise rests with ICA. It was she who last had custody of her. It was ICA who kept telling her family/friends Caylee was with Zani at Cocoa Beach, Busch Gardens, etc...

It was ICA who told not one shread of truth about Caylee's alleged abduction. Nothing panned out. Nothing she gave the detectives were credible. They have the culprit....If big IF, anyone helped ICA with the disposal of Caylee, I'm sure they wouldn't have put her 1/4 mile from her home, just 15 homes from her own home. I'm sure they would have already spoken up, if that were the case, for fear of being made the killer...I don't see why these fine detectives needed to look further...they had who was responsible for Caylee's demise. Much like the OJ trial, they will parade the detectives as inept, didn't go the distance, had tunnel vision...but, IMO, it was ICA who mader herself the POI, by not talking truth...JMHO

We will only know if there is actually anything of substance to these latest Defense claims, IF they ask Judge Perry for permission to add another witness(s) past the deadline for adding witnesses to their Witness List (which was August 31st).

We will know who the new witness should be, when we finally get the Discovery which includes cellphone ping records of the "new witness".

And if the Defense thinks LE and the State improperly withheld any evidence that would help Inmate Anthony, they should promptly file something with the Court, against the State. If they do not do that .... then I will assume it is just hot air and strategy to influence potential jurors in the public arena, rather than handling it in a professional manner, in a court of law, before Judge Perry.

I was thinking along the lines of LE having other evidence from "pen register" traces, that the Defense had not seen before.
