Hopefully DrewP will leave him alone. It sounds like DrewP tried to get intimidating when they met up in a store. Now I have to ask, does this sound like the actions of an innocent man? To me it sounds like a man who fears what TM might have to say. DrewP thought he was weak and could be intimidated. Thought that he could be discredited, by bad mouthing him. Thought he wouldn't talk to the cops. LOL, guess he was wrong.

And what was up with DrewP saying he was handing out Halloween candy, but when trick or treaters showed up police got involved??? Not very 'neighborly'!

I personally find that reprehensible. It's using Stacy's disappearance and apparent demise for radio ratings.

And no, I wouldn't allow my child to go to his house.

Interesting article! I just wish the grand jury would hurry up and issue an indictment!

I heard brief mention on Greta Van Susteran's On The Record tonight, and did a search for the news.

Thomas Morphey has been offered immunity as he may have acted as an unwilling accomplice to the disposal of Stacy Peterson's body. The article also states that Tom has not testified before the grand jury.

Will County prosecutors' have made a deal with a man who may have unwittingly acted as Drew Peterson's accomplice in a possible murder - granting the man immunity from prosecution as long as he's truthful and did not play a part in a missing woman's death.

If you read the article closely, the deal was offered 3 days after Stacey turned up missing. This isn't anything new like it is made to sound.

I wish the FBI and investigators had enough evidence to arrest Drew. I can't stand the man, and he is supposedly getting married again to another young girl. IIRC she's 22.

Hmmmmmmm....there's alot of new damning details in this article. I wonder if LE is using it to put the pressure on DP. I see no other reason for TM to have given Hosey so many details. I also, do not believe that TM has not been to the grand jury. I wouldn't doubt that this is a setup by LE to get DP to attempt to "silence Morphey" before his so-called GJ appearance.

I'm sorry but, he should have called the cops at that point and if nothing else said there was a domestic dispute going on over at their house and hurry.

I'm torn on how I feel about Morphey. On one hand, he was willing to being silently complicit on a murder plot, thinking it wasn't Stacey, just as he was silent on his feelings that Drew killed Kathy.

On the otherhand, his conscience finally got the best of him, albeit after his friend went to police, and he was willing to tell the truth.

The fact that, if as reported, he hasn't been before the Grand Jury yet, or that nothing has been done with all the information he gave to LE is a shame. LE and Glasgow have some answering to do there. But, it is hard for me to feel too sorry for Morphey being strung out. Again, the only reasons he spoke are because his friend Martineck called the cops and he developed a fear of Drew because he said "no" to certain aspects of involvement in the crime. He also told Drew that he thought he killed Kathleen, so he knew that Drew was now going to consider him a possible threat that he might have to silence.

I do hope that Morphey gets the opportunity to tell his story in a trial soon, though. And I hope that he has turned his life around and learned morality during this process.

My opinions only.
