Someone here posted that they called the Anthony tip line and got a recording telling them to report their tip to LE.

If that is the case than that is exactly the right thing to do. Then why give a tip with zero information and basis in fact to a poster on WS?

I'm sorry. I do not believe that LE ignores any tip that comes in about Caylee. They may however ignore distractions disguised as tips. Since they have a job to do and have been doing it perfectly imho.

And to add, after she realized she could not manipulate TES, voilla, a "tip" surfaced in Texas (you get the irony, like hey a lead in your hometown- go home and check it out and stop looking for my deceased granddaughter). Did not work, not credible.

Exactly! If you look hard enough, not even hard enough just barely look, and you will see a child in every city in every place in the entire world. You can't search every city doing a grid search. You can post flyers and ask for people to be on the alert, but unless you have some other kind of info to go on to add to it there are going to be a lot of people stopped and questions because their child is 3 years old and looks like a ton of other 3 year olds.

A credible lead has some description and information that helps to make it credible. It is more than just a city name. Texas is a really big place and most of the cities around Dallas are fairly large as well, got to narrow it down a little bit more.

Now you want Cindy to determine whether a tip is credible before she passes it on to LE? Do you trust her judgement that much? What information do you have that shows she's not giving the tips to LE first?

That's not what I would do. If I got a tip that my missing grandchild was alive somewhere, I'd tell everyone and anyone using any method available to me. Especially if I felt LE was not taking any tips about the child being alive seriously.

If I got a tip about where my missing grandchild might be I'd be on a plane looking for her.

Havent read all the replies so dont know if it was posted, but no where in that news article does it say there were any pages printed off of websites. The only thing I seen is that the woman looking thru the garbage thought there could be and was looking for it. Also it didnt say cards were thrown away, it said letters ,which Im sure was hate mail.

Whether those tips are credible or not is not for me to decide since I don't know the details. Yes, I assume that there are tips Cindy passes along.

That's one of my points; it's for none of us to decide. That's LE's job, and theirs alone, in their ongoing investigation. IMO. But there's where my earlier statement about a nano-second comes back into play. TX, PR, even FL, are big states. If I were LE, I would have to have more information; lots more.

Cindy believes a lot of things that have no basis in fact. Thats my point. LE is Caylee's voice now. That is who I trust and I wish people would let them do their jobs without distraction and lies.

IMO, CA is making up these "tips". Passing them to a WS member that will go to bat for her is just icing on the cake, I think. WS members accept nothing as fact and question everything or at least that is the way that it always looked to me. That is why I finally registered. WS rocks!

That is not her call to make, and they have and will check out any viable tip she receives. Have you seen what she calls a tip?
Secondly, even if that were true, have you seen her, George, Lee or anyone else get on a plane. If that was my child I would hijack an airliner if I had to find her on a whim.

I feel this way, it would be so much easier for LE to be able to solve this case. I am sure that if they thought they had any credible leads they would be on them. I feel sure they have followed up on a lot of leads already..

The only chance Casey has of being found "not guilty" IF she goes to trial for murder...IMHO would be if people had enough reasonable doubt. So the story continues about the kidnapping.

Those who want to believe that have the right to do so. Those of us who don't believe that also have that right.

I have never seen a detective as sure of his facts as YM was at the bond hearing. That thought keeps me going. I think they have a lot more than we know about. A WHOLE LOT MORE.
