What makes this suspect (IMO), is that it was his WIFES funeral that day.

Not to mention im relatively sure LE would have suggested that they would want to look into any connection to work etc. If he were innocent and really wanted to help LE he sure as heck would not be tossing computers out.

Cant imagine, with family and friends all around, he would decide to just go to the office and start cleaning things out...

Why didn't he donate the equipment to another practice or to the Our Mothers House or to his church or something.

Maybe he was totally frustrated since he knew that it was all over. And if he can't use it; Than nobody will. Control.

Given the the computers were dumped so early in the investigation (before the search warrant wad served on CWW) and on the day of TS funeral makes me very suspicious that he was attempting to get rid of incriminating evidence. The discovery docs say that the computers were recovered from the dumpster and are being reviewed for evidence. Ill look for the bates number.

Yes! Most people would be a little preoccupied.

I'm assuming that many of the practices in that building closed for a few hours that day so that Teresa's friends in the medical community could attend her funeral. Perhaps he chose that day to clean house because the building was quieter than normal.

Especially since according to MS 's plan- the office was going to remain open and a like-minded MD would be found. No need to get rid of equipment on the day of her funeral when you are supposed to be a grieving spouse. It's no wonder he is in the envelope!

sometimes the things MS did, especially all the planning and great lengths to not be found out both before, during, and after Teresa was murdered, remind me of a little kid who thinks that because you didn't actually *see* them stick their hand in the cookie jar, that you won't know or be able to prove that they ate a cookie...

That's a great analogy! As Teresa's husband and office manager he could deceive her to some degree. But he's just not that slick.

And now he has LE, neighbors, former business associates, the media, family and friends watching, documenting, and his reporting every move. He's screwed.

I so many unbalanced relationship, it seems to me that TS explained both to herself and others that MS was "earning his keep" by being the business manager and keeper / investor of the family and practice. It seems to me that no CPA oversight was involved, this the IRS issues. I believe much of the reason for ADA investigations in FLA and other states has to do with MD's "prescribing" and selling supplements that are not ADA approved. Having both husband/wife involved in this only adds to the involvement and culpability.

I believe in TS's last year of her life she found she had trusted the wrong person plus he was way less qualified to do what he was claiming to have "taken care of"

Honestly, if the FDA had been investigating the Sievers I think MS would have been arrested by now. SMS is itching to arrest the guy and I'm sure he'd be thankful to have the Feds take him down. The fact that MS was asking patients to continue to purchase supplements via the practice website fairly recently tells me supplements aren't an issue.

If the FDA/DEA is investigating the Sievers, I don't think it will be linked to supplements. The issue will either be that MS or someone else in the office was writing prescriptions without TS's knowledge. Or MS had linked TS and her patients to a shady compounding pharmacy.

Someone posted AMA guidelines about doctors' selling med/health related products. Per verified patients' posts here, seems Dr TS complied w guidelines, kept billing separate, etc. Wondering about issues, semi-related.

Not clear to me if Dr TS would receive $ from admission fees/ticket sales to above presentation. Maybe, maybe not.
I realize some 'business fairs' or classes/conference/networking-events like above do not pass any of the tix sales to the speakers, who make presentations as a public service.

Also if a dr pays a TV channel to run a health-related program series (a program ~like Dr TS was planning), do AMA guidelines considered those as ads?

I don't think it's being said that TS used a shady compounding pharmacy. I think the idea/opinion being posed is that MS was perhaps illegally writing Rxs with TS's DEA #.....possibly for CWW....(and they perhaps used a less than stellar pharmacy......but, again, the pharmacy and TS are not want you want to take away from these few posts.....focus on the possibility that someone was possibly writing illegal Rxs under TS's DEA#).

No one is suggesting TS was anything less than an excellent physician using excellent resources.

I still believe that prescriptions were being written without TS's knowledge!

For me, this would be the main interest CWW would have to be so involved in the medical practice. CWW had to be getting something hefty out of this connection. Supplements were not the key item and neither was computer work IMO.

The computer involvement would be a big help to MS as to how could one ask a regular hire computer tech to make false records or a dummy file of imaginary patients, or whatever illegal acts were going on? Again, my intuition tells me there is an illegal aspect to this story that is yet to come out. Perhaps untangling the destroyed computers is what is taking MSM so long in arresting MS. This may also be why MS is so smug, he feels that LE will not discover that one incriminating piece to nail him.
