Yes I know, but i thought Hawk said that one of the women had two dna samples found on her. I will have to go back and do a thorough search and see if I can find the post. The strange thing about Bittrolff is he kills three women and then stops? The LISK starts around 96 with the Fire Island legs, Peaches in 97 and so on. The LISK seems to have somewhat of a long interval between victims. One a year for the gilgo 4? But we don't know when Asian Male, mother and toddler, Manorville '12 were killed. There seem to be A LOT of UID from the year 2000.

I think you are referring to Jessica Manners. She had DNA from Christopher and DNA from an unidentified source - or so I am led to believe. I think I got that right. No question that Chris DID have sex with her. He was originally charged with RAPE and MURDER. Rape charges were dismissed. It begs the question is if she gave herself willingly why did he kill her? The simple truth is he DIDN'T.

It is perfectly understandable he would lie when confronted by detectives he had sex with her. She was 13 he was 19, and now she was murdered.

There is another doozy they screwed around with. They locked up and convicted a kid named Chichester. A PI found three witnesses to state another person admitted to them that he killed the woman, not Chichester. One fellow suffered a severe heart attack that he believed the next one would kill him. Why would he lie? Fact is the guy did die shortly thereafter. Another guy was in Florida. A PI went down there and did a polygraph. The guy was telling the truth. I forget what the circumstances were with the third guy, but he said the other guy did it.

PI brought his evidence to two DA Investigators. They agreed the case needed another look. Then - ADA Collins of Tankleff fame learns of this and goes to the two PI's and rips them a new AZZ....e. Got it yet?

It doesn't matter who the DA is, in the above it was Catterson. Collins spanned both regimes of Catterson and Spota. It is about the INSTITUTION, not the individual. But one thing remains the same : The detectives that pass this crap down from one generation to the another.

They tortured Chichester and sent him home only to be arrested later. They pulled out his pubic hairs. They pulled his head hair so hard it was falling out when he came home.

Hawk, Do you think Burke's "connections" are the drug cartels smuggling drugs into the marinas on the South shore? It doesn't make sense to me that such a little puny could scare so many officers into submission unless they were in fear of their lives and not just their careers.

The DTs that worked on Sarahs case are gone. They quit. How much time was spent working cases with distractions like lying to the grand jury( on Burkes behalf),coverups, resignations, quits, ect. Burkes presence in the dept. can be compared to cancer that has metastazided. With far reaching implications.

sounds like she might just have not wanted to say sarah was having sex with the men, i.e. she was "escorting", that or she was dealing dope to support her habit. nothing to support that. there is a funny moments from COPS when a cop is questioning a girl about her boyfriend who he just arrested driving a stolen a car. He asks the girl if her bf has a job and whether he has money to have bought the car. the girl says "people give him money for whatever he does". The cop goes "let me write that down" lol. Ll6, It is surprising to me with all the negativity surrounding LE in our country right now that the major media outlets have not picked up on this story. It is so "salacious" with JB and all that is going on at SC. I guess that the murder of ten plus sex trade workers and one toddler and what appears to be zero efforts to investigate does not does not matter to the world. It is hard for me to understand how our country is not hopping mad about this case.

I hope you are not suggesting I said ALL COPS ARE BAD? The vast majority are better than GOOD. Cops are no different than the rest of the population that sees evil and remains silent. When one sees evil and says something there is usually a price you will pay for it.

I have been following this case since the beginning when SCPD first announced that human remains were found on Gilgo Beach. Back then I was DEFENDING the SCPD, NEVER imagining in my WILDIST nightmares that the stories I had heard of police (Police Union/ Politics especially) corruption in SCPD were so true. I am ashamed that I was so naïve to tell some of the victims' family members to have faith in the police. God only KNOWS what has been covered up by Burke and his minions. As time went on I sensed something was just not right and my faith in the SCPD started to deteriorate. But HOLY **** this is like watching that movie The Departed!!! Except that Matt Damon is a hell of a lot better looking than Burke.

Fitzpatrick was detective back when the manorville bodies popped up and they pretended there was no serial killer. maybe if they didn't BS the public a lot of lives could have been saved

I have been saying this for a long time.....this is like a combination of three movies: 1. The Departed 2. Manchurian Candidate 3. Rosemary's Baby. If I was forced to pick a number ONE, I would pick Rosemary's Baby. Think about it.

On to more EVIL. Folks have nothing to do this weekend you should try to find a movie called "Devil's Advocate". It is all about Devils. Al Pacino is the head devil. He is recruiting Kenau Reaves into his law firm. He invites KR to a big party where the attendees are presumed to be part of a devil's cult. He introduces KR to Sen.Al D'Amato and Al's Sancho Panza, "Ambassador Charles Gargano.

HOW the hell can a United States Senator ( he was back then) allow himself to be portrayed in a movie with devils? They are so brazen they have to rub it in our faces. The ultimate poop rub was when they named the Islip federal courthouse after him. Last week I was there talking with another Burke victim and looked up and saw D'Amato's portrait hanging over the victim's head. That building in like a Pyramid.
