Just the belt. I wonder what he told the FEDS. If anything at all besides the assault by the Chief.

Im beginning to wonder if there was something more inside that bag than just police issue equipment, perhaps something he shouldent have. As I have said on here before, I find it hard to believe the FBI got involved just because Chief Burke punched a suspect while in custody.

@ Justiceforever, believe me I also hope Christopher Loeb gets a fair trial and the truth, whatever it may be, comes out. However seeing things as I do I have very serious doubts. It's a shame.

WI1987 - Loeb has already confessed to the theft. There is little doubt that he stole the bag out of the car. But in SC anything is possible. A fair trial? I don't think there will be a trial and they never intended to give him a trial.

What I think they wanted to do to him was to make him sufficiently terrorized by all those charges lodged against him and have him cop with time served with maybe a little bit tagged on for show. Then give him the max probation to ensure he stays in line and keeps his mouth shut.

The Special Prosecutor is BS. Another Fantasy Island Show for the public to suck up on.

I hope Spota is holding his hand when they put Burke in the Electric Chair.

Maybe when this is all over the both of them can retire and live out their days in Thailand. That wouldn't be so bad.

I attended a Tankleff rally at the Puffin Room in Manhattan. Tankleff's attorney, Bruce Barket took the floor for questions. One person asked Mr.B if he thought Marty would get a new trial if the appellate court ruled in his favor. Mr.B said there will NEVER be another trial for Marty no matter how the appellate court rules. NEVER! Spota couldn't afford one.

The appeal vacated the charges. Spota "punts" to AG Cuomo and Cuomo takes a 'safety' in the last seconds of the game to end it.

Spota punts again to Queens DA Brown on the Loeb case. The referee (FBI) calls for an Instant Replay. Attorney for Loeb stalks off the field with a yet to be disclosed 'injury'.

I decide the best way to keep the comedy going while this mess sorts itself out is to watch that great slapstick movie, ITS A MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD.

I think the NYTimes article was totally unfair to the NYPD by suggesting there was a delay in calling for medical help after Serpico got shot.

We don't know what equipment they had when they went into the door. I doubt if they had portable radios. They didn't have cell phones. There was a guy on the other side of the door shooting at them. What were the other cops supposed to do, call a time out.

I ran across him and his Rasputin Durk long before Knapp. They were both AHoles then and they still are now. Durk died a few months ago.

THIS IS NOT TO SAY they didn't make a major contribution to changing the NYPD and the bulk of their allegations aren't true.

One thing I think I know is if charges are made this board will get as hot as hell.

If they believe he had child *advertiser censored* then I hope they can find it. Otherwise it mignt be his word against Loebs. If they find child *advertiser censored* then they should start looking for burlap bags.

Of course Loeb is cooperating. Do you think the FEDS would be knee deep in this if they didn't already know what this is really all about?

You do realize the FEDS are the kings of the dirty tricks bureau. If Little Jimmy has it on his computer u can bet the FEDS have already seen it. they just have to figure out a way to use it.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the Queens DA office.

Ha, ha, I would love to be two flies on the wall of Brooklyn DA Hyne's office. Maybe those two guys who are running against him can bring it up in a TV commercial.

The FBI escorted Loeb to the Suffolk Court for his appearance. I am guessing that Loeb was not brought in a wagon, but a nice a/c car. He is their witness, after all. The question is he a witness to a beating or is there something else?

I think the FBI should name this case under code word: "Operation TWINX.

I don't there is any question that Loeb stole a bag out of Burke's car. That is not even on the table. What can be put on the table is the FBI asking the DA for consideration because Loeb is helping them on another case. LOL.

Loeb has been in custody since 12/14/12. I suspect he will do another month, or until his next appearance on 8/8. If the FEDS charge Burke I suspect Loeb will remain in federal custody until such time he is no longer needed. If Loeb is smart he will say thank you, Uncle Sam and do his time in the federal lock-up as time served. And you have to believe Mr.Loeb is not in some stinking dungeon......probably has HBO.
