SJSO is asking anyone with information relating to this investigation to call Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS (8477). You might be eligible for a cash reward.

"His mother, who reported him missing on August 4, said he had been behaving strangely in the weeks prior to his disappearance and stated people were trying to kill him."
I'd like to know more about this, in terms of who he thought was trying to kill him. Was it EVERYONE? Was it a group of people? Or a specific person? Also if there can be anything pinpointed that may have started this strange behaviour, what happened in the weeks before that may have had some sort of impact?

"While his mother was out of town prior to his disappearance, Tavarez rearranged her furniture and burned his own mattress."
This is concerning, I wonder if he told his mother why? Surely she would of questioned him to some point so again I'd like to know more on that and if that links to his thoughts of someone trying to kill him.

"It's possible Tavarez accidentally overdosed and this led to his disappearance. His case remains unsolved."
It's been over a year, surely he'd have been found by now?
