Fascinated with the players in this case and waiting for the next arrest.
In the meantime, I found this blog entry by WA posted at 5:49 AM on July 18, 2014….. which is about 5 hours before Dan was murdered.

One in Four Victims of Human Trafficking is a Child
Posted by Wendi Adelson at 5:49 AM

WHERE was her outrage against violent crime and for the then unknown killers of her children's father? You'd think such a vocal "Social Justice Warrior" would've been a little more vocal on the subject as a "victim" of such an up close and personal violent crime against her family? I think many would expect her to even maybe take it up as her new crusade. But no, quite the opposite - it seems like it's been quickly forgotten or pretended like it never happened - or worse yet - glad it happened.

April 2012 Q&A interview with WA about her book:

An Interview with Wendi Adelson – Author of “This is Our Story”
Some excerpts:

Why did you write this book?
. . . I wanted people to know what it meant to search for justice for your clients, and to assist them with life after trafficking.

Tell us a little about you?
I spend my days directing a law school-based legal clinic, trying to make people laugh, and doing my best to be a good friend/daughter/sister/mother/wife to the people in my life. I like to salsa dance, to make hearty soups, and to do silly things that make good stories later on.

What product can you not live without?
Toothpaste. I love brushing my teeth. So minty!

We may soon learn just how true these words ring, imo.

"Target. I have two young kids, so Target is pretty much where it’s at these days".

Fairly typical for these types: "Do as I say, not as I do."

IMHO

So, SG was driving Harvey's old car when arrested...

Just another one of those coincidences fit for a Coen brothers' movie, I guess!

Garcia, who has been charged with first-degree murder, pulled up in a black 2001 Lexus to pump No. 3, the closest to the entrance of the station located at a busy intersection just off Interstate 95.

Agree

The killer is driving Harveys car.

But Charlie acts like there is no connection to the case.

Wtf. Charlie is toast.

Hi Charlie. I hope you are reading here you smf

Can't believe this was missed. I know I've read it before - but where did you pull this from?

I was thinking about all the cars in this case.

KM currently drives a white Mazda crossover or something as seen on 20/20 and also referenced by LR in the confession.
KM complained to CA about the Lexus that he gave her "not safe" and was "not fixed right" therefore she requested an Escalade.
So, if KM was driving a white crossover, where was the Lexus?
Went back to the article about SG being arrested pulling into a gas station and THERE IT WAS.

SG had many cars but choose to drive Charlie's old one - a man his lawyer says he hates.

IMO that guy is a total clown. He gets ridiculed quite often on Twitter over his op ed pieces (since he doesn't 'allow' comments on his blog.)

While trying to figure out what CA has been doing lately, I found this to be of some interest:
Life Clips, Inc. has an international presence.

http://www.bloomberg.com/Research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=313172554
Aug 31 16 - Life Clips, Inc Appoints Stuart Posner, Wayne Thomas, and Charles Adelson to Serve as Members of Board of Directors
Life Clips, Inc. engages in the development and manufacture of cameras and batteries in the United States. The company is developing action, 360, dash, and still cameras, as well as accessories under HP brand name; and cordless batteries under Mobeego brand name for the use in cellular phones and other mobile devices. Sweet find.

Wonder what happens to those shares should he be charged with capital murder?

My Dispensability Has Been Proven

As some of you have noticed, I've been away for the last ten days, but I'm glad to see (and of course hardly surprised) that the blog has flourished in my absence. I won't speculate about which ways the arrows of causation are running here, though I do want to thank Ethan and our guest bloggers for running the asylum so proficiently...

Anyway, lots to catch up on, but I thought I'd report first on the most important development in my life that occurred recently. Last Thursday night, in a little village called Khad Nes (aka Had Ness) , which overlooks the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee), I became the luckiest guy on earth.

Wendi Adelson agreed to marry me. She now wears what she likes to call a "big girl ring," which I find has proven a worthwhile investment in terms of its deterrent powers alone. All I can say is: Wow, did I win the lottery of life. And it is a sentiment with which my friends and family eagerly share.

Have you ever come across this saying.... "A wedding ring is the smallest handcuff ever...so choose your cell mate wisely and sentence yourself carefully"

That made me cry. Biggest mistake Dan ever made. I just want to yell, "No, Dan! Don't do it!" It was more like playing Russian roulette than the lottery.

I've read this passage before, and it leaves me so sad. He spoke glowingly about her to his students. He called her "the incomparable Wendi Adelson."
