Oh! please let this be one of those miracle stories that this guy is a loon and has her tied up alive somewhere. If she was in the car they would have said by now.Really like to know where the car was found in Orange county.

What was everyone first thought about this man??????
Lawn care. Gardener?

Those BLUE shoes caught my attention..

This guy looks directly into camera, bridge guy had head tilted not showing clear facial features.

I know I know but we all thought he would be caught.
Or someone would know him.

I think he may have stolen the clothes and shoes from her employer.Or he could have pretended to be jogging while scouting.

Since he was there, my thought was he had reason to be in the neighborhood...pool guy, maintenance, gardener, etc.....but how did he get there, where is his vehicle? And he'd be identified by now.
Homeless dude?
Or stalker who knew Jennifer's routine?

Maybe LE already has this guy in custody, questioning him. Maybe they're on to him. LE is not saying much.

Yeah those horrid blue shoes are noticeable.

With all the bodies of water in central fl. I hope they checked them between the residence and where the car was found.
Sorry to be posting so much, this case has me nervous.

I can but I still have to use a PIN to obtain cash.
Can you get money from an ATM with a credit card not a debit card. It may not require PIN code.

I have both but have never tried to w/draw money with the credit card.

At gas stations, I have to put in my PIN code if I'm using the debit card.
If I use the credit card, all I have to do is put in the zip code.

The towel looks like a hotel towel. I hope they are looking at men who have recently checked in-out at nearby hotels.

This is a good possibility, maybe near where the car was found. If he needed money for drugs he would also need a place to do them.

I have a bad feeling about this. I suspect there is much more info that is being hidden by police than we know. With him changing his clothes, I wonder if they found blood, etc. Why would they keep so many details quiet (I would imagine there's a reason)? I also suspect those remains are her. 😢

To me, the POI appears to be some type of worker. And we only know what he is wearing, after he has taken the victim's ATM card, and somehow learned her password. So sad, and very scary for all women out there.

IMHO

The blurb about those remains....police went there at 12:15 today. It's now nearly 7;45 pm there. Still no update on whether it's a female or any other detail, one way or the other.....

WELCOME! to Websleuths Allie-oop.

What struck me was that the boss called to report her missing when she didn't arrive at the school to pick up his son but the husband wasn't told by police until after he came home from work.

I don't know if either time was specified...but if the boy got out of school presumably in the afternoon, and the husband in the early evening, I would've thought the boss would've already contacted the husband PRIOR to calling the police. But it was the police who notified him after he got home from work.

Then again, we don't know the details, but this gave me pause.

Seeing that guy in all white for some reason makes me think that maybe he was dressed up as a professional painter or something.. you know how they usually wear all white? Maybe he was at the door under the guise of being a house painter that was hired to paint the house or something? Just thinking out loud..

My first thought was that this guy was hanging out at the medical office complex, where she happened to have an appointment that morning. Maybe he had a comfort (or discomfort) with the place (physical therapy weekly?...maybe he's on leave from work?). Depending on PT area, you can work up a decent sweat; hence the towel. Desperate for $$, and decide to rob a random person?

I kept thinking that he followed her to her employer's home and then surprised her there. But I think it's more likely that he took that ride with her to her employer's home by some confrontation in the medical plaza parking lot. Perhaps once they arrived at the residence, he escorted her in, trying to see what other high ticket items he could get her to lead him to, and her panic/blank state made him nervous and he abandoned the extras and just needed her to accompany him with card and pin to get money. He probably put her in the trunk with a "this pin better be accurate" message, then drove around taking out as much money as he could before abandoning the car in 90 degree heat in an isolated area, but close enough that he could trek back to retrieve his vehicle from the medical plaza parking lot, or catch that bus he "routinely" takes.

I thought that was strange too. Wouldn't he ask around first, instead of reporting her missing sheerly based on her not picking up his son? What if she decided to quit that day and therefore didn't follow thru on her work duties, aka picking up the son? There are many other reasons she wouldn't have or couldn't have picked him up, car accident, medical or family emergency, etc. So why did boss assume it was because she was missing and called the police rather than her husband? WEird.

This is probably why we see on medical and employer paperwork "in case of" numbers and contact names. I honestly don't know if my employer has my husband's cell and work numbers...hmmmmm. Since this was a single family hiring a sole employee, they may only have had hers.

maybe he thought she had a prescription for pain pills...

^ Car jacking her from elsewhere could explain why he didn't have his own vehicle in the area of the residence.

However she was seen, or at least known to arrive at the residence, and I assumed she was seen on video surveillance. If so, wouldn't that show another individual in her car? Maybe it did.

Thinking her purse being found on the floor of the bathroom. Could she have tried to escape into the bathroom to try to reach 911, but didn't succeed ?
This is awful.
