Don’t take it personally. If I had a dollar for my every deleted post, I’d be rich. :D

It can take some time to get acquainted and learn your way around, no worries.

Here are some pointers re: WS TOS, which I will also link for you and other new members to review.

Basically, in a nutshell, we can only link and refer to social media from known mainstream media outlets (MSM), for example, a reporter’s or news affiliate’s Facebook or Twitter, such as Crime Online, ABC, NBC, etc. We can also link the missing person’s SM accounts, and/or the official “Help find...”, if there is one set up.

We are also allowed to link and reference the social media of Law Enforcement, for example in this case, the Twitter and Facebook accounts for Miramar PD, Walker County Sheriff's Dept, Hollywood PD, etc.

We are allowed to link to the missing person’s or victim’s social media pages, but not allowed to sleuth any family members, link their SM accounts, or reference the names or posts of anyone not officially named in MSM, or named as a Person of Interest (POI) or suspect. This includes significant others, etc.

No screenshots from social media are allowed, such as people’s posts, etc. Anyone who has not been named by Law Enforcement or MSM can not be named here.

Also re: SM, if there is something of interest, say a comment on Miramar PD twitter, for example, you can link the LE or MP’s/victim’s page, and say “interesting comment” here, but it can’t be specifically discussed if there is no mainstream reference.

The rules may seem stiff or confusing at first, but the reason for this is WS goes to great lengths to not only protect the privacy of people not named in investigations, but also protect against rumors, which can be very damaging to innocent people, and are often rampant on social media. Rumors are also detrimental to the investigations themselves. We want to work with facts.

Here are some links:

Excellent work compiling this !!

Thanks, it only took me 10 hours :D(not kidding, lol. I started at 7pm and finished at 5am. That’s not counting the 2 hours in the morning trying to make sense of all the locations, so yesterday I put 12 hours in, but it’s a worthy investment, and the beginning is often the hardest time in the case as we try to develop a solid foundation going forward. We never know what we may need to refer back to in the early stages of an investigation.

Thanks again to everyone again for all posts and information. It was truly a team effort. :)

I’ve been following this case all over simply because I have family in the vicinity. Has anything been mentioned about the hard rock casino in Hollywood? I’ve been several times and on one occasion, I was propositioned by a (assumed) prostitute. I was followed into the women’s bathroom and she started kicking in my bathroom stall door pretending she knew me. I was terrified and didn’t have my phone on me so I pushed the door open as hard as I could and ran out into the casino to my waiting husband. As soon as I started yelling to call police she calmly walked away in the other direction and we had the police escort us out to our car. Not sure what Leilas intentions were and a casino is not exactly the best place to bring a toddler but I wouldn’t trust it seeing that she’s a young, pretty girl.

Now if I can just figure out how to replace the question mark with a pic. LOL Thanks for the information.

“Detectives confirmed that they are reviewing surveillance video from the area of the apartment complex where the boy was found Sunday morning around 9 a.m. at 1860 SW 68th Ave.“

[...]

“Local 10 was inundated on Sunday with email and calls from viewers who wanted to adopt the boy or donate anything that he needed, especially diapers. The boy was found wearing only a T-shirt, a dirty diaper and was not wearing shoes.

A Miramar PD spokesperson said they where grateful to the community, but that the child was under good care.“

I’m sorry to hear that you had to go through that, you must have been terrified! I suppose anything is possible at this point. We await news...

Well, considering the pandemic situation, I was googling to see if it was even open.

Seems it is / article from yesterday: o_O
Brutal brawl breaks out at Hard Rock hotel, leads to multiple arrests

(eta: well of course it’s open, duh. I forget their Governor isn’t into the “shutdown” thing.)

Yeah that’s pretty much where I’m at, “anything is possible”. She could be anywhere, in any condition at this point, imo. I can see this going a few different possible ways, and I really have no opinion on the subject (yet).

LE is obviously focused on Florida per the comment @carbuff and I discussed a few pages back, and now Hollywood. Hopefully these are good leads. I don’t think they’d turn over jurisdiction based simply on someone calling in a possible sighting, as we know how unreliable these sometimes are, and they sometimes get many such reports in any given case, which they will of course investigate.

I’m guessing either traffic cam or business surveillance might have captured the vehicle, and/or the judge has signed off on the SW’s for her phone and a ping has led them there, but we’ll see. It could be a variety of things. Maybe someone is talking or sent a tip in.

Hoping for the best.

I find it so creepy when I see folks offering to adopt Kam, I'm sure his aunts will do right by him, plus they do not know the situation under which she went missing. I have also speculated drugs but we could be wrong and maybe she was getting her act together.

None of this make sense. It does not seem Leila have a history of abandoning or endangering her son which I am leaning towards foul play or forced trafficking.
