@ Raymond_Drowns_Son Important I think. Getting this post over here from his son reacting on this thread.

Male found in Palm Beach County, FL on 2/3/1984 UP814

First, I want to thank all of you involved in trying find Raymond. I am his only son. He knew I existed, but I don't believe the police knew at the time. I submitted a DNA sample to NAMUS roughly around the time this thread was created. I was two years old when Ray disappeared and have never met him. I believe very strongly that my mother Paula A Coffman (AKA Paula Ann Stewart, Paula Ann Peters, Paula Ann Moog), and her future husband (my step-dad), John Michael Peters, had something to do with his disappearance. Around the time of his disappearance, my mother was going through a divorce from William Curtis Stewart. This is an important detail because he was stuck with the child-support payments for me as he was on the birth certificate. William C Stewart is not my biological dad though. Raymond is. My step father, John Michael Peters, later went to prison for murder when I was 14 years old. I believe that my mother was either directly involved in the disappearance, or that she had someone (probably John Peters) kill him to ensure that she got child support from William C Stewart for me. I was told my whole life that I lived in Hawaii until I was two years old. However, when I found the Doe mentioned above, I question my mother about it and she changed her story. Now instead of being in Hawaii until I was two, I was there until I was three. Even if I was two, that would have put my mother in Florida (not Hawaii) a minimum of four months after Raymond's disappearance. When I questioned my mother about it she started bawling. I found that to be very strange considering she hadn't seen him in years. They were high school sweethearts and even went to prom together. Some other important details are: 1. My step father - John Michael Peters knew details about Raymond's disappearance, that are not public. He told me when I was eleven years old that "the last time anyone had seen my father he had a Mohawk, canoe, and a bible." 2. When I was around five or six I was with John Peters, when he found an abandoned canoe near a lake somewhere in south Florida. We lived in Green acres at the time. I have passed all of this info on to the detective who is in charge of this case. I haven't heard from him in months and I honestly don't have the stomach to deal with it anymore because I'm 100% certain my mother had something to do with it.

Thanks for moving that over here. As I mentioned in the post, John Michael Peters is in Prison doing life without parole. He beat a man to death in front of my siblings and me in our living room when I was 14. Offender Details I lived in Green Acres on 37th Ct and was in kindergarten or 1st grade when John found a Green canoe (with me) abandoned on a lake. My mother admitted to my youngest sister that she met John Peters in the spring of 84. I would have been two years old. This in spite of the fact that she insists she didn't move back to Florida until I was three. Someone mentioned the doe listed in this thread was beat to death. That was John's M.O. My grandpa indicated that they (my mother and John) frequently rolled people from the bar scene. John hated anyone in our family saying his name out loud in public and often got very annoyed by it. I never understood until now. I talked to John via video visitation and questioned him on his knowledge about my dad's disappearance but was unfruitful. However, after my video visitation he sent me a letter indicating he thought I was working for the police. I believe he knows something.

Raymond went missing in January 1984. Your mother told your sister she met Peters in the spring 0f 1984. That would be after your father went missing. I know it's hard to recall your memories. Oh jee, certain things stick in your memory, traumatic things...but you never can recall what year it was. Maybe when you dig real hard.

I think my mother knows that I suspect her involvement with his disappearance. I'm trying to get a hold of William Stewart because he would know exactly when she went back to Florida from Hawaii. I think my mother is (and has always been) obscuring when she got there to hide her involvement. She used to lure men out of bars so Peters could rob them. I would not be surprised at all if he killed a lot of the Does, and missing persons around 84' in south east Florida. He's cold blooded killer. My mother is money hungry. There is one memory I have where we went on a long trip into the everglades. I was very young, but I remember it like it was yesterday. I believe that this has something to do with his disappearance as well. I've relayed this memory to the detective in charge.

Was mixing things up....sorry.

I'm not sure what to make of this. I think in this record Raymond is listed. (same birthday and year) According to this, this person was residing in Lake Worth from 1999 - 2004. Maybe it's my inexperience with reading this records right, or it's just a coincidence, but it makes me wonder.

My wonder level just went up.
Great find @Bit of hope
Has the young man looking into his father spoke with any family members on Raymond's side to ask questions?

I am still almost positive that Raymond is Palm Beach County John Doe Feb. 1984. If you put the reconstruction and a picture of Ray side-by-side, it is almost identical. The fact that this guy's Mom burst into tears when questioned about this Doe just adds to that. What is everyone else's opinions?

I really don't know. The son gave DNA, maybe it's not processed yet. Is there DNA for the Palm Beach County John Doe, as far as you know? Besides that, it seems that Raymond was maybe still alive. If this is the same person, (same name, same DOB) he is listed in the United States Public Records as residing in Lake Worth between 1999 and 2004, but it could also be a (far) relative with the same data. Maybe more is to learn through a genealogy site, behind a pay wall. I'm not a member.
