The 'tag' part was in response to finding daughter's previous years' bags online.

Diena knows where they came from (store, friend, family) and that person knows where he/she got them (store, ebay, garage sale, etc.). JMO There is no reason LE doesn't have a photograph of those bags. JMO They have more information on those bags and are holding back.

The only reason that comes to mind of the description to be changing at all, is if the others were later accounted for as NOT missing. So then a new bag description must be given that she had with her and lunchbox. It is important to LE at this point to know whether these are describing real items.
If all her other bags have been accounted for. The HM, a black one, etc.
The implication in that would be that S made it home first. And somebody is not telling the whole story. That is why finding the acual bag as described is almost as important as finding the bag itself.

I know some of you have talked about a person being in a car, riding by, snatching Somer. I'm wondering if someone was parked in this spot. It is across the street from the house on Gano. The same street (Fromhart) the skateboard park is on. Here are 3 shots attached of the place I'm talking about.

I can just picture someone (creep) backing his car in there and sitting on a picnic table waiting for a cute little girl to walk by.

I'm wondering if Somer was headed down Fromhart Street to get to her big brother who was at the skate park, so she could tell him about fighting with the other kids before they got to him with their side of the story. I'm assuming he was the one usually in charge of his younger siblings when mom wasn't around, and Somer would go to him for help or just to complain.

Thought I'd run this by you all.

So, I know they would have been more than likely "bought" locally, as stated by lipin, and LE would have went to those places first, I would think. It is a mystery to me.

Maybe it's a seasonal item, sold only for beginning of school. Maybe that's why there aren't any around for LE to show us a picture.

But, what I find strange is that Diena must've told LE where the bags came from. She had to.

So, how can't they call the manufacturer or distributor, even if in China, and arrange for a picture to show the picture. Why rely on a drawing?

The reason I said before that the lunch box may be more of a train case or more like a girls makeup bag is the handle, on top... not for carrying heavy lunches. These are examples of train cases or makeup bags, just to illlustrate.

Still trying to find the video in which Diena or AB says the book bag is shiny (vinyl is what I remember) with the design stenciled (printed or transferred) on it.

Typing out loud here but it was after the book bag and lunchbox hit the mainstream media. They had been on AMW and then the next day, there were videos all around that talked about them.

And something that occurred to me is that when our artist sketched the clothing and it had a pattern, she only drew a small portion of it to indicate what was repeated over the whole shirt. I'd wondered if that was the case with the book bag but am also recalling from the same hallucination that the person said the design was "in the corner."

I don't know why this is not in my notes or what cryptic description I gave it that I cannot find it anymore.

Apparently, some 10 year old girl in OP said that she was approached by a younger guy in a silver car with a bad muffler, and it appeared to her that the guy was trying to get her into the car.

The rapist that was apprehended drives a Kia and is 24 years old. He may be a possibility for Somer because his rapes escalated right after Somer was found.

This brings me to wonder of who would keep those things. A serial rapist/killer like Denis Rader, perhaps?

But... there hasn't been any such crimes in the Orange Park/Jacksonville area in recent history, or afterwards.

Well, that's not counting the five disappearances that John Walsh mentioned on his program. If it's the same person as the one who snatched the five girls, then that person is an old foggy now.

Which leads me to wonder if there were any suspects of those five disappearances living or having dealings in the Gano/Debarry area on October 19th?

Police described the man as being in his 20s, with dark, spiky hair.
They said he was in a faded gray, older model four-door Honda with a loud muffler.

The guy arrested in Duval is black.

Police said McCray has an extensive criminal history, beginning with a 2003 arrest for sexual battery on a 15-year-old. McCray's defense the sex with the teenager was consensual and he pleaded guilty to child abuse, for which he spent one year in prison.

They let these pgs back out with hardly any time, and they just get worse,knowing they can pretty much get away with it.They have more rights than what was given thier victims.Laws need to change,the public needs to put pressure on thier legal system to stop putting these pgs back out in our neighborhoods.LE does thier job and judges throw them back out to prey on children.

This is why we can't have a sub-forum .. as Tricia stated will see how many ppl will stay with the case.. and everyday less and less here interested in this case..

Was yours audio as well? And did it include Diena? I just picture the reporter bringing up that AMW had done story and released sketches and asked Diena to describe them here for their viewers and that's when she said it. (In my world.)

LOL ... I'm going to blame LE and that with their state-of-the-art software they were able to remove all evidence that the video existed and all posts on forums in which it was discussed.

If only they could have erased it from our memories as well, they would have been golden.

Since I'm waiting for something to finish baking, I'm going to read Threads 16 and 17 again just for kicks.

We can go on kooky theories and on our "POI of the day", but nothing is panning out.

I'm sure that when LE gives the public a little "bone" to chew on, the chatter will return.

This happens with most cases, even on the media. The press has left Horton Drive, and there is nothing on Somer on the news, except for the benefits and for the archives.

I'll stay here, unless I'm booted. Well, until there is someone else here to discuss things with, or say hi! to.
