I think that this information makes it very clear that the BOA theft reported on the banner of the Nancy Grace show was based upon legitimate fact. There WAS an incident.

It is a real report.

It is available to ANY and ALL from LPD, regardless of your theory of the case.

IMO

I agree especially since the bank reimbursed the customer.

I agree especially since the bank reimbursed the customer.

THAT would never have happened without solid PROOF that the customer had deposited the money.

I am not surprised that the bank investigated first internally. I am also not surprised by the slow investigation. However, I DO think things were coming to a head for Melinda.

Ultimately, BOA wouldn't have let it go.

Was in a restaurant in Sanford, Florida. There were people at an adjoining table. Heard an elderly man say, "Duckett's body is in a junk yard near Leesbourg, Florida. (knew it had to be Trenton Duckett that he was referring too.) One of the women asked him if he did anything about it. He replied "he had called Crime Line and gave them the information" This was several months ago, and have heard nothing about any search of a junk yard near Leesburg.

Is it just my extremely suspicious nature or does anyone else think this poster should be checked out? Maybe I'm jaded but I'm thinking they may be someone who knows something and is trying to get it out in the open?

Just thought it was kind of strange to have a new poster that drops a bomb like that and never comes back after only 2 posts.

My continued prayers to Josh and sweet baby Trenton.

Hi Lurker,

Your point that maybe this poster is someone who has heard or knows something and is trying to find a way to get it out in the open is valid.

All leads should be pursued. Little Trenton needs to come home.

My prayers to Josh and Trenton and family also.

Harmless, are you still around? Have you checked with LE to see if someone turned in your tip?

Hi Comfort and welcome. I see you have been on websleuths since May. But, I still want to welcome you to the Trenton thread.

Has anyone passed this on to Josh?

LOL...it is hard to keep up with a websleuthing addiction just over lunch.

I did want to say hi though and let you know your input is appreciated.

Has anyone passed this on to Josh?

Just e-mailed the tipline.

Wish I could have said I had seen him someplace so he could go home to his daddy.

But, in the meantime, I suppose they've gotta turn over the rocks & clues they get.

Fundraiser held for Trenton

In the article Carla said:

"So far they don't want to respond. I beg if they know anything, come forward. This is the hardest thing anyone could go through," said Carla Duckett

In Carla's shoes waiting to hear something from SOMEONE...those would be my words...I would be wishing so hard for news of little Trenton. I cannot imagine going through what Carla and Josh have suffered. I look at my children and grandchildren and my heart breaks for them.

If Trenton is alive, someone out there needs to have a heart and get word to those poor people that their little boy is out there.

My prayers to Josh and Carla...both have earned my admiration for their refusal to give up and for their efforts.

I am so sorry Trenton isn't with you today. Am praying and wishing hard for Trenton to come home to you soon.

bumping for Trenton....where could he be? Was Melinda really smart enough to hide him this well?

YES.

Trenton was just a little boy. Grown men and women have been buried and never turned up,

Melinda had 8 hours on Sunday, all of Saturday night and all of Saturday evening to find a place to leave her son.

It is a whole like easier to dispose of a body than to hide a living child who needs care.

Unfortunately, I think Melinda did the worst.

I would love to be wrong with my conclusion. But, no matter what that little boy needs to be brought home. Every day I pray for him to be found.

Massero said knowing Melinda Duckett as well as she did also gives her hope.

"I don't believe in my heart that Melinda killed Trenton," she said. "Until I have proof, I'm going to stick with my gut feeling."

This was an excellent article. It has been so long since Trenton's family has seen that little boy.

Sending thoughts and prayers their way.

On the second anniversary of Jennifer Kesse's disappearance there will be a 4 hour event honoring the missing. Trenton's family and members of law enforcement will be included among those featured.
I have avoided this thread until now...and they joined with Jennifer Kesse's family who is one of the first cases I gave my heart to. They both really tug at my heart still today because, while I would love to see a resolution in either or both cases, I don't see it coming anytime soon...if ever.

Every time I see Trenton's face, it reminds me of how fragile life is and how fragile the mind is. His mother had a fragile mind. I feel sorry for Josh ever being involved with her. I watched the case as it was ongoing and my heart broke every single time I saw him begging for information. I don't think he realized how insane she really was. For a woman like that to have complete control over your child and your life...he is going to live in hell forever...because at one time he mistook quirky with insane.

This case doesn't just have to do with Trenton. This case is all about his mother's insanity and how you go about decifering it.

My feeling is that Trenton is gone. He isn't with anyone. She didn't have that much in her to think that far ahead. Sadly.
