''A French man has been accused of drugging his wife and recording at least 83 'aggressors' raping her in a horrific cycle of abuse spanning ten years.

'Dominique P' is understood to have recruited his wife's attackers from an online forum called 'Without Her Knowing' – where users discuss performing sex acts on unwitting partners – and storing evidence on a USB drive in a file called 'ABUSES'.

Fifty-one men, aged 26 to 73, have been identified and charged with raping his wife of 50 years, pseudonym Françoise, with investigators finding 92 cases between 2011 and 2020.''

''The husband is alleged to have used the drug Lorazepam to sedate his wife by mixing it into her meal, before inviting men to have sex with her while she was unconscious at their home in Mazan, near Avignon.

Investigators learned of the horror after arresting Dominique in 2020 for filming up the skirts of customers in a supermarket in nearby Carpentras, with a search of his Provence home uncovering camera equipment and 'dozens of videos' of his wife's abuse.''

ccording to The Daily Telegraph, Dominique used an internet forum called 'à son insu' ('without him/her knowing') to organise the abuse of his wife while she was sleeping.

Investigators have identified 92 cases of rape of Françoise, drawing up a list of 83 'aggressors' – but have yet to identify all of the alleged assailants.

Those charged include a fireman, a municipal councillor, a prison guard, a nurse and a journalist.

In 2021, it was reported a total of 33 had so far been jailed, with nine under arrest.''

''Louis-Alain Lemaire, a lawyer for some of the suspects, claimed at the time that some believed the wife was 'simulating' being unconscious as part of a sex game.

Detectives argued the suspects must have known the woman was drugged, because the husband claims to have briefed them before each episode of abuse.

The alleged assaults occurred between 2011 and 2020, with the prosecution claiming that Dominique insists none of the attackers 'gave up going through with sexual acts on his wife given her state'.

"They were ordered not to smell of tobacco or other strong scents that could wake the woman. One man told detectives: “It’s his wife, he does what he likes with her.”

Dominique is expected to go on trial next year. He could receive up to 20 years in prison.

According to the Daily Telegraph, when his wife learned of the attacks, she admitted to suffering from gynecological problems, frequent fatigue and ‘absent-mindedness’. An examination revealed she had four different sexually transmitted infections.

She is understood to have battled with depression following the attacks and has since filed for divorce. Her estranged hubby told prosecutors that he still loves his “saintly” wife.''

How low and disgusting!!! How can he say he "still loves" her? He couldn't truly love her and do that to her! He is only thinking of himself and nothing of her! Giving her STD's along with now nightmares! I cannot imagine the betrayal she must feel.

Wondering now if this guy ever spent time outside of France? speculation, imo.

From link..
''Prosecution documents allege that husband 'Dominique P.' urged his wife's rapists not to wear condoms. A doctor has also revealed the woman in her sixties had contracted four venereal diseases and suffered gynaecological problems.

Meanwhile, Dominique P. has also been charged with raping and murdering a 23-year-old estate agent in Paris in 1991. A second estate agent said she had been attacked in Paris eight years later and investigative sources say an e-fit of the suspect in both cases 'bears a strong resemblance' to Dominique.

As prosecutors also prepare to bring the case involving his wife to trial next year, evidence is said to show how the couple's eldest daughter was also filmed unconscious in her underwear, and alleged abuses against other family members.''

Dominique P. was indicted for the murder of a woman in 1991 - which he denies - and the attempted rape of another in 1999. This E-FIT based on witness testimonies in the 1999 case was said to 'bear a strong resemblance' to Dominique P

They've been married for 50 years? I want to know what else he's done to her! Can you imagine dedicating your life for 50 years to a man who does this to you? SMH

With a rape/murder + another rape attempt that long ago, then abusing his wife for years this guy was evil! Maybe he started on his wife so that he wouldn't be caught. Perhaps the girl escaping gave him a scare and he thought he could get away with it longer (which he did) if he kept it close to home. I am just surprised there is only one murder in all of this.... but is there only one???

Don’t forget the rape and murder charges he’s facing.

Sure hope it’s not just the twenty years!

He's 70, pretty sure he won't be getting out of jail.
But yeah no matter his age the sentence for this should be life meaning life IMO.
Absolutely disgusted by this case.

A low sentence can set a precedence for future cases; that’s why it cannot be approx. 20 years.

He is an older guy but the next one might be 35 and want the same sentence.
