I don't believe I've seen this one posted. The man who called 911 from the bus crime scene gave an interview to the local newspaper. Some of the details are a bit graphic. However, there's a ton of info he provided that has not been related in the broader media coverage.

First time posting a link from my phone. Hopefully I didn't screw it up.

Thanks grasshopper (insert accent: "grasshoppa, with great power comes great responsibility..." )

"Mallet said it appeared to him that the inmates aboard the bus were trying to be helpful."

These other inmates had a chance to run and they didnt. They stayed, and tried to help. This is commendable.

It seems it will be the FBI who will be giving a "comprehensive update":

"The FBI announced plans to hold a news conference in Madison on Thursday along with state and local law enforcement to provide a “comprehensive update” on the investigation."

Escaped inmates were cellmates in prison | This is what we know about them
http://www.9news.com/news/crime/what-we-know-abou-the-escaped-putnam-co-fugatives/448340195

"Donnie Rowe, the older of the two escaped prisoners, has the more violent history. Born in 1973, Rowe was being held for life without the possibility of parole for multiple armed robbery convictions in Bibb County from October 2001. He was also convicted on multiple aggravated assault charges and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime."

"Ricky Dubose was born in 1993 and was serving a 20 year prison sentence for an armed robbery, aggravated assault and theft by taking conviction out of Elbert County from 2014.

He was eligible for release in September of 2034.

He has also served time for multiple convictions for credit card fraud, financial identity fraud, theft by taking, burglary, robbery and a for entering an vehicle charge. In his lifetime, he has served three prison terms.

Dubose was a part of the Ghostface Gangsters when he was on the outside and is a member of the Aryan gang in prison, according to authorities. Both are associated with white supremacy."

Seeing they are booooth white supremacists, I wonder will they specifically target any African Americans or other minorities? Who knows what they've been discussing. I think their main goal would be money right now though, not random killings, knock on wood.

I was very worried about possible violent "identity fraud" yesterday, and to see now that this is also actually part of his MO is very worrisome.

MBI asking for Mississippi's help finding armed and dangerous Georgia fugitives
http://www.clarionledger.com/story/...prison-escapees-may-noxubee-county/396479001/

Mississippi authorities are asking for the public's input in finding two Georgia inmates who fatally shot two guards on a prison transport bus.

"On Wednesday, it was believed they had been see in Noxubee County but they weren't found there, despite extensive manhunts."

Snip

"On Wednesday afternoon, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation sent a BOLO poster to media contacts, stating, "Authorities are asking for help located to escaped convicts from Georgia. They are armed and dangerous, citizens should not engage these suspects but contact law enforcement.""

Snip

"All leads have been exhausted concerning reported sightings of the escapees, The Macon Bee reported earlier Wednesday. The Noxubee County Sheriff's Department searched several sites in the Mississippi Hwy. 388-Sandyland Road area but found nothing. However residents are urged to still be alert."

Georgia manhunt: Reward for escaped inmates increased as family makes desperate plea
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/06/1...increased-as-family-makes-desperate-plea.html

"Dubose’s family has pleaded for the inmate to turn himself in.

“He needs to stop (running),” Rocky Dubose, Ricky’s father, told WSB. “Ricky please stop man. Brother, they gonna kill you, if you don’t give yourself up. I promise you.”"

(That clarifies my question about him having family from yesterday; that article was unclear, they must've meant family in the area, moo.)

Oconee County Georgia Sheriff's Office

Answers to the questions:
1) No, we don't know where they are
2) No, there are no credible sightings in Oconee County
3) The pickup is a FORD, F-250 Superduty, single cab with silver tool boxes down both sides of the bed.*
4) We don't monitor this page. Putting something actionable on this page means we won't see it. IF YOU KNOW SOMETHING DIAL 911
5) We want them as bad or worse than you do
6) Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills is the lead on this case. NOT me!. We will support him in any way possible.
7) IF we post something on this page it is because we have been told by a credible law enforcement source. Don't call me and argue with me if it varies from what you were told. I don't care what someone else told you....we are posting at the REQUEST of other agencies.*
8) We won't rest until they are found. Law enforcement will find them. We won't discuss how we find people on this page...but no resource is being ignored

Thanks for all your thoughts and input Margarita, get a little rest.
I hope that the press conference can give us more to work with.
Until these guys are apprehended, those of us following won't have much peace. jmo

I thought the other prisoners were handcuffed to their seat? They stayed because they had to?

MARGARITA25 bbm above Yes, the situation changed the minute I/we found out these men were "roomies." Lots of time spent figuring how to get on the transport bus at the same time. This throws out my theory of the two splitting up....they are connected "at the hip." As I recall, that bus was taking prisoners to a "diagnostic facility." They probably "faked some condition/ailment etc." knowing they would be in rotation for the next trip, if the bus only runs once every 2 weeks, for example. Any long term inmate would be aware of when certain runs are made. Maybe not the "exact hour" but definitely aware of what days. It is a lot easier to escape from a bus than it is to escape from a high security prison. (No cement walls, no lock down protocol, no emergency alarms, no additional CO's to come to your aid....as I said before, transport duty is DANGEROUS.) We don't know if LE is giving a true report of their location. Giving a false report of them being in Mississippi, might take some heat off them and they may try to call a "watched/monitored" contact.
Right now, their only hope is to head towards the Gulf and get on a boat headed to a non-extradition country in Central America or Cuba. I know that sounds far-fetched, but these guys have to be the most wanted men in the country ....and they know it. They can NEVER have a life in the U.S. I wonder if it is easier to stowaway on a trawler or just hi-jack a large private boat?
RIP to the guards. Your innocent lives should not have been taken by career criminals.

I am bringing this post over because it helped explain a situation which could have occurred.
The inmates were being transported for "medical services".
One of our escapees, fakes a medical emergency while in transit.
The bus pulled over and attempted to provide service, and they were taken over/shot killed.
The escapees get keys and guns. Etc...

Why isn't the media coving this story at all! I haven't heard one peep.
