Classification: Endangered Missing
Date of Birth: 1975
Age: 31 years old
Height and Weight: 6'2, 175 pounds
Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian male. Brown hair, blue eyes. McCullers's nickname is Ben.

Details of Disappearance
McCullers was last seen in McIntosh County, Georgia on June 2, 2007. He called his fiancee on his cellular phone to say he had run out of gas. She got four more calls from his phone the next day, but the signal was so weak that she couldn't make out any words. McCullers has never been heard from again. The day after his disappearance, his pickup truck was found locked and parked crookedly in a ditch off Highway 99 near Crescent, Georgia, few miles from McCullers's home and exactly where he had said it was. It was out of gas and had his cigarettes, his checkbook and a small amount of cash inside. There was no sign of McCullers at the scene, but his keys were found in a field about fifty yards away.
McCullers was employed in the construction industry at the time of his disappearance. He enjoys hunting and fishing. Since he went missing there has been no activity on his credit cards, cellular phone or bank account. It is uncharacteristic of McCullars to leave without warning. His father stated he was physically fit and would have been able to defend himself against an attacker, unless he was surprised. His case remains unsolved.
A decade later, family, law enforcement still seek answers to man's disappearance
Case of missing man has no leads - July 2009
Not knowing is what's hardest: Parents are in anguish over the disappearance of their adult children - December 2008

A decade later, family, law enforcement still seek answers to man's disappearance
Ben McCullers called his fiancée one dark night to let her know that his pickup truck had run out of gas, leaving him stranded on the side of a road in McIntosh Countys Crescent community.
And then he vanished, 10 years ago today.
Ten years later, law enforcement officials are forthright in saying they still do not have a clue what happened to the 1994 Glynn Academy graduate. If anybody out there knows, they have not come forward.
Nell McCullers also longs for answers about what became of her son. The wound left behind by his sudden absence from her life has grown into a scar over the years, leaving daily reminders of the unanswered questions surrounding June 2, 2007.
I hold out hope that it will be resolved, Nell McCullers said. I hate to think his life wasnt worth any more than that hes just disappeared. Gone. And thats the end of it. He was a great person, a great son. He was smart and hard working. He had a vision of what he wanted for himself and his life. He was just getting off the ground.
