No thread on this one so I decided to create it. He's not on NamUs and few details are available. A white man killed in 1983 near Cairo, Georgia. Found on Highway 93 South.
His characteristics:
Age: 40-45
Height: 5'11
Weight:160 pounds

Curly grayish-brown hair.
Full upper denture.
Brown mustache.
Smoked Camel cigarettes.
White V-neck T-shirt.
Blue shorts with a red trim.
Gold wristwatch.
Basketweave slip-on shoes.

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
I did a quick search on NamUs and this guy was the closest thing, the quasi-Afro hairstyle is very noticeable but there are slight differences.
At 5' 10" he is slightly shorter and there's a 10 to 20 pound difference in weight.
He had sandy blond hair while this man had graying brown hair but still, could be a matter of perception.
His age would have been slightly above this decedent's upper limit.
The missing man has no family left and he wanted to break off the relationship with his considerably younger partner, a man as I understand it. Perhaps he left to start a new life South? Both had a gold wristwatch.
