I strongly believe Jose is the John Doe that was found in 2011, in Barstow County. I sent my tip to the detective assigned to the John Doe investigation. He is looking into this possibility as well.

We thank you for the information! I am awaiting the missing persons case information from the agency he is missing from to see if there is something that can help us positively identify him. There is a strong resemblance and the timeline matches our case.

Looks like he had a charley project page back in 2018 but it no longer exists. He also isn't on the NCMEC database, I think he's no longer missing.

Glad he’s been found! Looks like he wasn’t that John Doe!
