"She hasn’t gone three days without contacting someone," Gabby Petito’s dad Joe Petito said.
But it’s been more than three weeks since Petito’s family has heard from her. But when the Moab Police department released bodycam footage showing an incident between the couple, another piece of the puzzle was revealed.
"It’s really hard to see someone that you love upset and crying," Gabby Petito's godmother, Flora Rocco cried. "And they’re so far away and now they're missing. Honestly, I think that was the hard thing, to hear her voice, hear how upset she is, and you just want them next to you and they’re not.”
Just days after the incident in Utah, Gabby’s godmother says Brian flew back to Florida.
“She was waiting for him to get back, and I can’t remember if he was picking him up the next day or the day after that.”
This was sometime between August 21st to the 24th. Gabby's family has been frustrated that Brian stayed silent.
"This type of behavior is cruel," Joe Petito said. "It’s heartless."
