Is the letter posted somewhere kathyn? You read it?

I haven't seen a full letter....just reports about what is supposed to be in it. It is reported somewhere that George threw some of Casey's friends under the bus in it. Those poor kids. I wish the As would give them a break. Not nice dragging their names through the mud again, especially given they took lie detector tests, something the family won't do.

BTW, I sure hope one of those kids doesn't wind up committing suicide given the As keep trying to throw suspicion on them, they are young and that must be hard to cope with.

Observation:

As reported, I have heard there were 2 notes, or conflicting reports on a suicide note or letter in the motel room and another in his car.

"Morning stories of Anthony in Hospital"

It shows George being escorted and getting in car, then it shows many officers around his HHR (I believe he has a HHR).

On the right side officers are trying to open the door with a tool.

WHY would they just not ASK George for the keys????? Also, if he has a HHR, it comes with onStar and OnStar can open the door remotely. I just thought this was "strange"...

That is strange. Good observation!

I don't know what to make of everything that's gone on the last couple of days. The doc dump could not have been easy for the family to deal with. I know from the start many were pleading for the family to get help to work through this all. I am glad to see George is doing just that and I hope he continues with therapy. I blame Casey for all that she brought on this family. But I can't help but think, it's still NOT about Caylee.

I understand where you are coming from but I disagree. From my experience people commit suicide for one overriding reason - to stop the pain. Where that pain comes from and how bad it is might not make sense to you or me, but to them it is overwhelming and there is nothing else that they know of to stop it.

I disagree too. My brother was bipolar and committed suicide this past July. His wife of many years had divorced him because his disease got to be too much for her to deal with. He started spiraling into a deep dark hole of pain and ended it..he also sent out messages and tried to do it a few times before he finally did it..He was not selfish, he couldnt deal with the pain anymore of losing 3 kids(from 1st wife) our parents, and losing his love of his life a..It really makes me made when people say it's a selfish act..someone has to be in a dark place in their life to do this.

Very strange. Maybe it had to do with the 8 beers? Maybe he lost them? Maybe he sold the car after his 8 beers? I'd be really drunk if I drank 8 beers, if he doesn't drink much, he may have been too??

No, I don't. Apparently GA exposed anything about the case other than he thinks KC is innocent. He took no responsibility for doing anything nor stated that KC did anything. Thats not what the suicide letter was about.

I just heard this same thing reported on LK..I didn't expect GA to throw KC under the bus because she's gonna take what she did to Caylee to her grave..The only thing GA has to expose is his very strong suspicion she's the perp & he's taking that to his grave also.

Caylee was so innocent....Casey not so innocent. Unless he feels guilt about how he brought up Casey, I would have thought the decision would be an easy one.

And how long should a parent feel guilt for an adult child's crimes? Does that mean that all parents should be charged with aiding and abetting their adult children's crimes? Where do you draw the line? Casey was an adult at the time of her alleged crime. I really want to know. What about Ted Bundy's parents? Dahmer's? Son of Sam? Shall we throw the parents in jail for the alleged sin(s) of not 'raising their children up right'? Tell me. What about parents of DUI criminals? Child molestors? Parents of burglars or murderers? Should we throw them all in jail along with their children?

I saw that as well...just wonder when they got into the car? The police have been so kind to this family. I believe I saw Det. Allen in one of the photos, an amzing gesture IMO.

PS- I was a little perplexed when I read one of the police docs to see they referred to the Anthony(s) as the grandparent(s) of the missing 2 year old.

Or they were still in his jacket pocket, forgotten.

ITA. Casey has wreaked havoc on so many lives and she will continue to do so because she will never give it up. I just heard Dr. Phil say on LKL that GA can't even begin the grieving process normally (I'm paraphrasing) because Caylee hasn't had a funeral! So you're right, it still isn't about Caylee.

(((((((((((((((((( Cajun )))))))))))))))))))

I'm so sorry

To add to that they do not consider it selfish, they feel worth nothing and that the world and even all who love them would be better off without them. They can't feel the pain they would leave behind because the pain they are feeling about themselves is too great, the overriding thought is "they would all be better off without me". So trying to get them to see how selfish it is does not work at all in my experience.

This is spot on!!! :clap::clap:
I have had my 'cries for help', ie :self harm, and one very real suicide attempt. I truely believed that my family, my children would be better off without me.....that it would actually be the right thing to do for them, because I didnt want them suffering through my pain and depression.

But ultimately I was thinking of my own pain and I thought it was the only way to make that pain stop, after trying so hard to get better, and still sinking further into darkness of depression.

Unless you have lived it or studied it, you cannot understand it. JMPO

In the newly released incident doc? For George? Wow. The Police Chief said they didn't keep up with Orange County happenings. I guess he wasn't kidding. Looks like Baez may have found his change of venue.

I'm not sure what you are attacking me for?

I didn't say he did feel guilt, but it's certainly a possibility. And I certainly didn't say that he should or shouldn't feel guilt. So I'm not going to answer all your questions to me that seem to be based on a false premise.

I think anyone who has committed crimes against children, should be dealt with in accordance with the law. I have no problem with the laws protecting children (other than the fact that I'd like to see it be made an offence to fail to report a child missing), and if the law says the crimes warrant jail, then yes they should go to jail. Not ever parent of a murderer commits crimes to cover for their children, but if they do, of course they should be dealt with in accordance with the law. Children need the protection of the law, they are helpless and Caylee had no choices in this, and if her family don't want the person responsible for her death convicted, I sure hope LE still does.

This is exactly why I thought people should have left the Grandparents alone from the get-go. Yah, people say that if he was really going to kill himself that he would be dead, but I don't think you guys quite realize that even though an attempt is a cry for help, given enough time someone who's that depressed will eventually stop "crying" and just do it. Eventually they feel like there is no hope anymore and no one can help them. Don't EVER forget that. Depression is serious. George did NOT kill Caylee and he doesn't deserve the criticism he is receiving.

Back off of the A's. Yah, everyone may not agree with how they are grieving and how they are handling things, but give them a freaking break already. Absolutely no one here has been through what they are dealing with, so try to put yourself in their shoes cause I guarentee that none of you would know how you would handle yourself given their circumstances. It's easy to say you would behave one way if you were in their shoes, but when push comes to shove, it's a lot harder to "take your own advice" so to speak. Remember t hat.

This wasn't a rant on anyone or even a rant at all, just a plea. These people, in light of everything, are human also and deserve sympathy, compassion, and prayers. No one should be judging anyone, not even Casey. Let God handle that.

I think this is a question only the grandparents can answer. Personally, I think George is overwhelmed by EVERYTHING. It wouldn't surprise me if he feels guilt. It's very normal for parents to feel guilt about everything. Then there's the guilt that survivors feel after the loss of a loved one. No shortage of guilt here IMO.
