I honestly think that we are being played! WHY did the news go after this (GA's affair) with so little information? It puts them (the news people) in a bad light! It is obvious that GA is a troubled guy and this is such weak information (SO FAR). The thing that makes the most sense to me is that it is some sort of smokescreen for a different story. This is a salacious tidbit to keep you and I off of some other situation that is bigger and better. I saw somewhere that someone thinks is it to get the focus off of the ABC deal. (This isn't my original concept--but it makes some sense!---the news has been "steering" too much of this too soon and they might want attention deflected elsewhere).
What if ABC realizes (perhaps a little late in the game) that it is an ethical problem to pay large sums to people involved in an ongoing investigation? Though there are no laws broken (apparently)--can't ABC and it's news affiliates be cast in a very poor light when it becomes clear that they have been funding the dream team, etc?
If there is some OTHER large news item afoot...does this goofy George/affair story keep us from looking deeper?

(I don't know what's up either but what you wrote "hit" me too. And, it is true they DID pay money to Casey. It
truly is just my opinion but I find that gross.)
So, just to continue that train of thought:
ABC (the FAMILY network)might have realized that they paid a lot of money to a mother who (might have)murdered her daughter. They may have realized(late in the game)that people feel Casey murdered Caylee and might be upset that ABC gave her money.
ITA. Yeah. When you feel all confused and led on...it's probably because that's what's going on. I usually have such strong intuition that gives me a direction (true/not true) about everything but with this "cheating" story my "meter" is just spinning and spinning: not going anywhere. It's like it's not even a "real" issue but yet there is something there enough to keep the meter spinning...
Why this "keeping the story hanging"? I keep going away thinking this will be soon resolved: the truth one way or the other must come to light...but as of yet: nothing!? Super crazy. Why can't we ever just know the truth about things?
I am not a person who enjoys the Anthonys on any level. But, even I could see people wanting to take advantage of them. But, I also figure they are up to no good because that is all I have ever seen from them.
Yeah. I don't know. This one is just too much for me. This "george had an affair" has my husband telling me that customers today were really talking about it: I have asked him before if people ever talk about it at work or anything and he usually thinks real hard before saying, not really. But today he was like, "people were really talking about this today."
So, if this was a ploy to get people talking...from my perspective, it worked. And, the thing that stood out in my mind was the customer that understood the "affair" information included the idea that Caylee's death was an accident. Scary. Maybe.
