LM states he was notified the truck was at the Conway Ford dealership. Representatives from HCPD and the Solicitor's office were present at the dealership. A Ford technician removed the SD card from the vehicle. A CSI from HCPD was there and gave the black box to LM to examine.

Sounds like JG is hinting at chain of custody.

Odometer readings, lights on/lights off, door opening/closing, gear-shift position (park, drive, etc.). These are the things he can extract during his examination.

LM tells JG the message log is limited to 4 mb, then it creates a new log and overwrites the old information.

LM states the driver's side door was opened within 20 seconds of the message log created at 12:06:59.
There is no log of activity with the passenger's side door.
JG is asking if the log records break-ins. Really?

"Are you able to tell the jury the truck was at River Oaks?"

Well no, Mr. Galmore. That was the point of them removing the SD card. What an insult to the jury's intelligence.

Driver door opened 12:06, NAV card removed 12:07...thanks defense your pretty much verified what the witness is saying. The state never mentioned the drive door being opened.
