If true, I speculate there is even more to this than “dabbling” with minors. Perhaps a business venture Mischa uncovered and interrupted?

Maybe those pics of the accused in his garish jewelry were a giveaway? IDK. This is all just….amateur opinion and speculation

Poor Mischa, she was so young with no life experience. She had no idea how dangerous this guy really was.

It doesn't sound like she shared much about her relationship with her own family? But did try to gain the support of her MIL. Sounds like he may have killed her after she spoke to his Mom?

Remember when she was reported missing her family claimed she might be emotionally distraught. Finding out your 28 yr old husband has been carrying on with minors as young as 15, he was making or sharing p o r n with them on line. Then came the claim DJ isn’t her baby’s father.

I think it’s possible Mischa had told them some of what was going on, but he appeared to be cooperating, and no telling what they had been reading in text messages from her for 2 weeks before they knew she was missing. They were probably confused by the different stories too. The truth about her having someone on the side was denied in the same report that DJ was not cooperating & he was now being held. There was no other man. That was a loud statement from her family who had been searching for her but had remained pretty quiet back stage.

If she is only 19 and they got married last year… was she 18 when they married? I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that he was involved with her before she was of legal age.

In addition, wasn’t csam mentioned as well? If that’s true, I imagine it was more shocking to Mischa than being unfaithful with other girls. No idea if she discovered that too?

But I agree, he didn’t like being confronted or having his Mom told. I’ve also considered she may have said she was going to tell his CO, that would have been potentially worse for him.

Family of pregnant Army wife missing in Hawaii say authorities believe she is dead

The family of a 19-year-old wife of a Hawaii-based soldier who went missing three weeks ago said Thursday that Army investigators told them they do not believe she is alive.

“What we need to know is anything about DJ,” Tapiz said, using her brother-in-law’s nickname. “That’s kind of the focus right now. The focus is no longer – I mean, of course it’s still ‘bring her home,’ but now it’s switching to justice for Mischa.”

She said Army Criminal Investigation Division agents told the family that based upon evidence found in the home and in the soldier’s car, a red Ford Mustang, they believe Mischa is dead.

The Army is not saying much about the investigation, but Mischa’s family says they were told Johnson preyed on underaged girls and bought cleaning supplies before he reported her missing.

Mischa’s mother, Frances Tapiz-Andrian, broke down during an interview on social media while asking the public to help find her daughter.

“Come out, with anything. Call CID. I am not to judge anyone just come out please,” she said. “I can’t even bury my daughter.”

That's what I was thinking too. Heartbreaking to find out your husband has been cheating on you, horrifying to find out he's been involved in underage SA or the depiction or trading of such, and being pregnant with his child while finding these things out would paint a very scary future flash forward. What if she left him but still had to hand over her child to him for parental time? Maybe better to stay and at least be present when the child has to be near him? Just wondering at the possible thoughts she may have had to deal with. I can't even imagine all the things she may have been feeling all at once.

Another thing to consider is if a big storm could possibly wash a body out from wherever it was left.
They know his car was involved. I'm curious about any tracking data for his car, his phone, and her phone. I'm also curious to know if any of his underage victims have come forward about their interactions with him. Watching her Mom cry about just wanting to bury her daughter rips my heart out.

Following this case is like an onion where every layer is more troubling.
Seemed fairly straightforward at first.
I felt immediately Mischa hadn't left voluntarily !

If he (allegedly) did this, I have no words I can use.
What sick people there are out there.
If he did something to 'silence' her ... I think he showed the world the the accusations may be true ?

There is a lot that points to what happened, but just speculation. I dont believe they will find her remains on the installation. I'm a retired Marine and in all my time in the service and all the different installations I was at, I don't think he would have risked leaving her somewhere close by where she would likely be found quickly.

Soldier from Frederick detained in connection with pregnant wife's disappearance

A soldier from Frederick has been detained in Hawaii in connection with the disappearance of his 19-year-old wife, who is six months pregnant.

As of Friday afternoon, DeWayne Johnson was not listed in the Army court-martial public record system.

According to online court records, DeWayne Johnson has no criminal record in Maryland apart from two traffic citations in Frederick County issued in October and November 2022.

Records for both of those cases show that DeWayne Johnson was living in the Clover Ridge neighborhood of Frederick at the time.

Missing wife of soldier in Hawaii believed dead​

Army CID is now trying to find out more of where Dewayne Johnson was July 12-Aug. 1. During that period, Mischa Johnson’s family received texts from her phone, but it is not believed that she sent them. Local news outlets in Hawaii report that surveillance footage shows Dewayne Johnson purchasing cleaning supplies and various tools in the period prior to reporting his wife missing.
