IMHO they have saved her all her life. Why would they stop now? Death penalty or no Death Penalty they would rescue her. JMHO

My Grandma used to say "Hope springs eternal."

When we saw CA so broken I "hoped" that she had finally changed. I always believe in second chances for everyone. I thought now that ICA was blaming her behavior on sexual abuse from GA and LA, CA would see the light. I was wrong.

Hope Spring?

Whenever I hear the TH's say that the Anthony's don't want Casey to receive the DP, but they do want the "truth", I feel nauseated. They DO NOT want the truth, they not only don't want the DP, they also don't want Casey to be convicted. They want her to walk. The "we don't want the DP" talk was (IMO) ALL for show, just like the Bibles they carry to court.

IMO, they haven't wanted the truth since they smelled the smell of death in the car. Caylee has the entire country behind her, but not her family. That is truly sad. This could have been over a long time ago if not for CA and her obstructionist tactics and GA's roll over and play dead demeanor. I do truly feel for them, but they are here of their own volition, imo. MAN UP, Anthony family, and tell the truth for once. You are truly between a rock and a hard place, the only "out" is tell it like it is. jmo

Quoting myself, how lame is that. CA can bring all the bibles to court that she wants, until she admits to herself that she helped bring this about, there is no salvation for her. Sorry, but that is how I feel about the sudden call to religion.

I can't say for sure what GA or LA would do, but as for CA -- you bet your life she would, because this is and never has been about Casey. This is all about Cindy. She is a narcissist and would never allow others to control any aspect of her life. This is all about CA coming into court to show everybody that she's in charge and she makes the rules. All you have to do is watch the tapes from Thursday's testimony, when she was smirking and literally giggling at LDB as she "showed her."

Everything -- from the overly tight, age-inappropriate purple dress to the head shaking, word-mangling teenaged syntax she evinces speaks to look at me. ICA didn't fall far from the tree. But don't you think for one minute that either of them is going to shed a tear for the other. These are two narcissists, each in it for themselves.

you said it all so perfectly...especially about the fashion statement! Glad to know I was not the only one giving a fashion citation in my mind to that creature!

probably.

Cindy loves a fight.

Agreed. It was Cindy versus The State when the Defense called her. She came to court in black and somber clothes for the Prosecution but once called by the DT is was bright purple and beads. That struck me as odd from the start. It was like she was mourning for Caylee in the first part and in party clothes for Casey in the second part.

I don't believe George, Cindy or Lee had any direct hand in poor Caylee's death or were part of any original cover up of the crime. I do feel for their loss. I also however get sickened by CA lying on stand about timecards and making a search for chloro and acetone when she was clearly at work and it could be proven on rebuttal. She doesn't care about justice for Caylee as much as getting Casey off. It breaks my heart for the baby.

I feel CA would try to save her daughter, no matter what the penalty would be. Maybe she feels if she could get her home, she could punish her enough. Somehow. Maybe just living with such a controlling mother would be punishment enough. :waitasec:
